DAY 3 | In line with the leadership of FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, Regional Director, BFP CALABARZON and FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, BFP Quezon, FSINSP EDWIN A EMRADURA, Municipal Fire Marshal, personnel of Sariaya Fire Station together with Sariaya Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) strengthened rescue competencies through Field Training Exercises on Vehicular Extrication Techniques which teaches first responders how to safely stabilize crashed cars, operate heavy rescue tools, and free trapped patients without causing extra injury.The training was with direct supervision of Special Rescue Force (SRF) Lucena.
The activity is a commitment to inter-agency collaboration, capability enhancement, and the continuous development of highly skilled emergency responders dedicated to protecting lives and ensuring public safety.

DAY 2 | In line with the leadership of FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, Regional Director, BFP CALABARZON and FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, BFP Quezon, FSINSP EDWIN A EMRADURA, Municipal Fire Marshal, personnel of Sariaya Fire Station together with Sariaya Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) strengthened rescue competencies through Field Training Exercises of Basic Rope Technique and High Angle Rescue; Refresher Course involving rope systems, lowering and belay system, system incorporations, application of high directional system concept and stretcher suspension orientation. The training was with direct supervision of Special Rescue Force (SRF) Lucena held at Agri-Trading in Sampaloc 2, Sariaya Quezon.

The activity is a commitment to inter-agency collaboration, capability enhancement, and the continuous development of highly skilled emergency responders dedicated to protecting lives and ensuring public safety.

DAY 1 | In line with the leadership of FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, Regional Director, BFP CALABARZON and FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, BFP Quezon, FSINSP EDWIN A EMRADURA, Municipal Fire Marshal, personnel of Sariaya Fire Station together with Sariaya Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) successfully participated in first day of Basic Rope Technique and High Angle Rescue; Refresher Course held at Sariaya Fire Station in Poblacion 3, Sariaya Quezon.

The Special Rescue Force (SRF) Lucena provided expert guidance and practical support throughout the first day of training focusing on the fundamentals of rope rescue, including familiarization with rescue equipment, safety protocols, rope management, knot tying, victim packaging, basic rope rescue techniques, anchor system and mechanical advantage. Through hands on exercises and practical demonstrations, participants strengthened their technical competencies while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and safety.

The activity emphasized the importance of regularly refreshing mandated skills to prevent deterioration of proficiency and ensure that every responder can perform safely and effectively during actual emergencies. Through this kind of training, personnel remain prepared to overcome high-angle rescue challenges and deliver timely, coordinated, and lifesaving response when every second matters.
