Our heartfelt thanks to Meghan Rae R. Edra and to her parents, Mr. Jerickson & Mrs. Sheryl R. Edra for donating two units of microscope to Sarrat North Central School. Because of your love to our learners, they are given the chance to explore a world beyond what the eyes can see. They can now experience science in a more meaningful and exciting way.

Shining through the Lens!

Huge Congratulations to Renz Jazzel Castillo for winning 2nd Place in Photojournalism at the Regional Press Conference held in Batac, Ilocos Norte (March 9–13, 2026). It was his passion, dedication, and talent behind the lens, combined with the expert guidance of his coach, Mrs. Mishel S. Agorilla, that propelled him to the top.

Kudos as well to Vhyna Mariel Melchor, who gave her best in the Copyreading and Headline Writing category with her coach Mrs. Frenz Charlaine P. Cala. Even without a win this time, her dedication and effort shone through!

WEEK 2: AMIHAN 🌬️
(Breath of Discovery, Winds of Change)

In celebration of the National Science Club Month and SDOIN Science September Fiesta, our learners took part in another exciting and meaningful activities that spark curiosity and environmental awareness this week:

Pinwheel Making (Kindergarten – Grade 2) – Our young learners crafted colorful pinwheels while discovering the simple science of wind energy, guided by their teachers’ explanations.

Science Quiz Bee (Grade 3-6)– learners showcased their knowledge in Environmental Science, promoting not just academic excellence but also deeper awareness of the importance of caring for our planet.

Truly, science breathes life into learning and empowers change for a better future.
