Today, I attended the Visayas Development Committee hearing at the House of Representatives.

During the meeting, I personally submitted our request to TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez for livelihood training programs identified by our fisherfolk during my recent community immersion.

They shared the TESDA courses they believe would best help them improve their skills and create more sustainable sources of income.

I am grateful that Secretary Benitez received our proposal positively and expressed his support for the initiative.

This gives us hope that, in the near future, our fisherfolk will have greater access to training opportunities that can strengthen their livelihoods and improve the well-being of their families.

At 3:00 pm we went straight to the plenary for the days session .

A good day to start the work week.
