Sibulan National High School respectfully appeals to all parents and guardians to support the school's efforts in preventing the spread of conjunctivitis (sore eyes) within the school community.

Parents and guardians are respectfully advised not to send learners to school if they are exhibiting signs and symptoms of conjunctivitis, as the infection is highly contagious. Affected learners are encouraged to remain at home, receive appropriate care, and return to school only after they have fully recovered and are no longer contagious.

Your cooperation is vital in helping us ensure a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment for all.

The AI-Ready Educators: Bridging Classroom Innovation and Academic Research extension program successfully concluded last June 11, 2026, with a closing ceremony celebrating the participants' achievements and commitment to integrating artificial intelligence into education. The event featured participants' learning reflections, the awarding of certificates to participants, speakers, and partners, and inspirational messages from representatives of Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) and Sibulan National High School.

A highlight of the ceremony was the AI-Ready Educators Commitment Ceremony, where participants pledged to apply their newly acquired AI knowledge and skills to enhance teaching, learning, and academic research. The program concluded with closing remarks, a photo opportunity, and a fellowship session, reinforcing collaboration among educators and NORSU's commitment to promoting innovation and digital transformation through community extension initiatives.

At about 07:17 in the morning June 24, 2026, personnel of the Sibulan Municipal Police Station (Sibulan MPS), under the leadership of 𝑷𝑪𝑷𝑻 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝒀 𝑱𝑬𝑨𝑵 𝑪 𝑮𝑼𝑻𝑰𝑬𝑹𝑹𝑬𝒁, Officer-in-Charge conducted police presence/visibility at Sibulan National High School at Barangay Poblacion, Sibulan, Negros Oriental. The activity aimed to ensure the safety and security of students, teachers, and school personnel by maintaining police presence and visibility within the vicinity of Sibulan National High School. It also sought to deter criminal activities, prevent any untoward incidents, promote peace and order, and provide a safe and conducive learning environment. Furthermore, the activity strengthened the partnership between the Philippine National Police, the school administration, and the community while enhancing public confidence through proactive police presence.

Sibulan National High School informs the public that heightened security measures are now being implemented effective immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners, personnel, parents, guardians, visitors, and stakeholders.

All individuals entering the premises are required to undergo security screening and follow established entry protocols. Campus 2 learners are likewise advised to use the designated entrance at the blue gate fronting the NORECO II Office.

We kindly ask for everyone’s understanding, cooperation, and strict compliance as we continue to uphold a safe and secure learning environment for all.
