In 429th celebration of Nuestra Seรฑora De Candelaria the municipality of Silang make this event to exemplify talents through singing. If you want to join the competition here is the following mechanics.

MECHANICS:

1. Must be bonafide Silang Citizen providing Barangay certification and Valid ID with address of barangay.
2. The contestant must provide minus one 2 selected songs ahead of time during audition and competition proper,
3. Must advance 20 minutes before the competion start; late comers are not allowed to join,
4. The required age bracket must be 18-30 years old.
5. For those who want to join coordinate to your Barangay SK Chairperson for verification.

Competition Proper:
January 30, 2024
6:00 pm at Patio Medina

Ngayong araw po ay matagumpay ang isinagawang Sangguniang Kabataan Mandatory Training (SKMT) para sa ating mga bagong halal na Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons. Ito ay nagbibigay ng mga kinakailangang kaalaman at kasanayan sa mga lider ng kabataan upang maging epektibong lingkod-bayan.

Pinangunahan ito ng ating Pamahalaang bayan sa pangunguna ng ating Alkalde Atty. Kevin Anarna, Local Youth Development Office Engr. Aljhon Cabason, Department of the Interior and Local Government MLGOO Jonalyn Cate V. Magcayang.

Sana'y maging tagumpay ang paglunsad ng mga bagong SK Chairpersons sa kanilang mga tungkulin, at maging inspirasyon sila sa iba pang kabataan na makiisa sa pagpapaunlad ng kanilang lugar.

FOR: All Winning Sangguniang Kabataan Candidates

SUBJECT: Assumption of Office of the Incoming SK Officials

In light of the recent Supreme Court decision in GR Nos. 263590 and 263673, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) clarified that once winning
candidates have been duly proclaimed and have taken their oath of office, they shall immediately and effectively assume office.

The NYC would like to emphasize that in the case of successful Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) candidates, Section 27 of RA No. 10742, as amended, imposes an additional requirement before the winning candidate can assume office, specifically, that they must undergo and successfully complete a Mandatory Training to be administered by the NYC and the DILG. Any SK official, whether elected or appointed, must undergo the mandatory training program before
he or she can assume office.

Therefore, in addition to the proclamation and oath-taking, winning SK officials are obligated to fulfill the Mandatory Training requirement, which shall be evidenced by the issuance of a Certificate of Training Completion. Only upon the acquisition of this certificate will they be eligible to assume their respective offices immediately.
