Before Kaong National High School was established, to finish high school was just a dream among the residents of Kaong because of poverty. Pedro Oñate proposed to put up a Barangay High School in 1970. His Proposal was supported by different barangays in Silang and one of this barangay was Kaong, Silang, Cavite. Antonio Ramos (retired Kaong Elementary teacher) and Mr. Sotero Pallera (former princi

pal of Kaong Elementary School) proposed the establishment of Kaong Barangay High School. Captain Eduardo de Ramos (deceased), Mr. Claudio Miranda (PTA President - KES and Brgy. secretary), and Mr. Luis Ofren (Brgy. treasurer) about their proposal who in turned agreed and supported them. Together with all the Barangay Councilors, they talked with Mr. Augusto Salazar (retired District Supervisor of Silang) and Mr. Creencia (retired Division Filipino Supervisor). Finally, thru the help and initiative of these persons, their dream of establishing Kaong Barangay High School came to reality.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the ARAL Summer Program 2026, an initiative of the Department of Education aimed at strengthening foundational skills and supporting learners through focused, intensive, and meaningful remediation sessions.
