IN PHOTOS: PCDT CAUDILLA, PCDT ALIBANIA, and PCDT MONTEVERDE joined the RUN FOR A CAUSE for the 28th foundation anniversary of Bauan Technical Integrated Highschool under Dr. Gabriel Roco, Principal IV, at Catalina Residences.

Fun runs are typically organized to raise funds for worthy causes such as schools or charities. Participating in a fun run has many physical and emotional benefits in addition to raising money for charity: physical health, mental health, fitness, weight loss, team building, laughter, and social interaction. Running is beneficial to humans in a variety of ways. It's a great way to get some exercise and meet new people. It is simple, enjoyable, and socializes humans; it can be done at any time; and it relieves rather than causes stress.

LOOK: On January 27, 2023, PCDT ALIBANIA, PCDT CAUDILLA, and PCDT MONTEVERDE, in collaboration with the Bauan Municipal Advisory Group from various sectors of the local government unit, conducted prison fellowship, a project of the advisory group to give hope and strength to the person under the custody of the Bauan MPS. Each detainee was given the opportunity to speak and give their life story; the majority of the detainees are drug abusers. The members of the advisory group also made statements that boosted morale and made the detainees smile with encouragement and hope.

IN PHOTOS: Personnels of Bauan Municipal Station conducted Oplan Sita in entry and exit point of the said municipality. The concept of operation is the conduct of checkpoints in strategic points/areas targeting undocumented/unregistered motor vehicles. After the operation the cadets have the opportunity to asked one of the most experience personnel in terms of operational activities.

He said that, “Oplan Sita was extremely helpful in preventing street crime and apprehending violators in this city. Since the implementation of Oplan Sita, a significant number of violators have been apprehended”. The common violations they encountered were driving without license, without plate and carrying fi****ms without permit documents.

IN PHOTOS: On January 25, 2023, at about 1500H, P/CDT ALIBANIA, P/CDT CAUDILLA and P/CDT MONTEVERDE rendered courtesy call to PCOL Pedro D Soliba, Provincial Director of Batangas, at Batangas Police Provincial Office.

Police officers conducted roving and inspections around Bauan to ensure the community's safety and to build trust. Community policing is a law enforcement philosophy that allows officers to continuously operate in the same area in order to build a stronger bond with the citizens who live and work there. This allows public safety officers to interact with local residents and prevent crime rather than respond to incidents after they occur. In its most basic form, community policing is a collaboration between law enforcement and residents. The more involved law enforcement is with the residents they are sworn to protect, the more residents will be able to assist law enforcement in achieving their goal.

IN PHOTOS: PCDT Alibania, PCDT Caudilla and PCDT Monteverde observed the conduct of DPAR (Daily Personnel Accounting Report) led PLT Sonia Cueto, Deputy Chief of Police of Bauan Municipal Police Station, which monitors the daily attendance and status of all personnel in the station. In addition, to relay all instruction according to duties and responsibilities of each personnel based in their jurisdiction. This serve as a mean/tool to maintain and ensure effective public service.

Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM) was also conducted at Bauan Municipal Police Station Conference room. Furthermore, interactions between personnel was also conducted, sharing topics of “What things are you most thankful with”. In this way it will create a good relationship and bond between all personnel and to maximize their limits based on their capabilities.

LOOK: PCDT ALIBANIA, PCDT CAUDILLA AND PCDT MONTEVERDE conducted information drive about the Philippine National Police Academy Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT) to senior high school students (HUMSS strand) at Bauan Technical High School. The Cadets explained how the application process flow simultaneously. They discussed about the qualification of applicants, the examination proper and other phases of admission in order to become Cadets of PNPA. They also encouraged the participants by sharing their experiences and the benefits of becoming a Cadet of the Academy. This is activity of the PNPA to market the Academy to the aspiring students, who wants to join the Philippine National Police (PNP) with an initial rank of Lieutenant.

The PNPA is a 4-year education and training program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Public Safety degree. Aspiring Cadets need to take the PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT) to be qualified for the next step of recruitment. One of the advantages of becoming a part of the PNPA Cadetship program is that you will be a scholar of the government. They offer a full scholarship grant for four years, with pay and allowances. In addition you will have free tuition, uniforms, food, and accommodation. Importantly, after graduation, you will automatically be employed in government service.

We are very fortunate to have this kind of activity to promote a premier school that has the advocacy to enforce the law and to serve and protect the people and the community. We are inviting all interested students to take the challenge and be part of the long maroon line. Be a PNPA cadet. Be one of us!
