As part of our preparations for the ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ฃ๐จ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ-๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด starting on ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐, ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ญ๐ด, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, we will conduct a dry run wherein public utility jeepneys will ๐ป๐ผ ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐ฃ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐. Instead, they will be ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐. ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ฆ๐. to help reduce congestion and traffic along MH Del Pilar.
As part of this, we will also have strict implementation for ๐ข๐ป๐ฒ-๐ฆ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐. ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ฆ๐. for this PUJ re-routing plan.
As we have observed, M.H. Del Pilar St. is ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐น๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฑ being used by ๐๐ฒ๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ด๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ๐๐๐ฎ๐, while E. Gonzales St., Villanueva St., and P. Montoya St. are mostly used for Sabutan traffic only. Through this dry run, traffic flow can be distributed more evenly across these roads.
This will also help lessen the number of vehicles heading directly to the public market, especially on Sundays, since motorists can already use E. Gonzales St. and turn right toward V. Toledo St., going to the market area.
We would like to emphasize that this is only a dry run. We are conducting these studies and traffic adjustments to find effective solutions to traffic congestion and to prevent the situation from becoming worse in the future.
This will also benefit commuters, especially those traveling to and from the public market and those going toward Tagaytay.
