𝐌𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐀 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐀𝐊𝐆 𝐍𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐨𝐩 6 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐊𝐆 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐧

Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro — Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN JOVENCIO S BADUA, JR, in close coordination with the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), successfully arrested a Top 6 Most Wanted Person listed on the AKG National List during a law enforcement operation conducted at around 8:20 PM on January 20, 2026, in Sitio Can Adlay, Brgy. Gutivan, Cajidiocan, Romblon.

The suspect, identified as alias “Litz,” 31 years old, was apprehended by a composite team composed of the AKG Luzon Field Unit (LFU) and Intelligence and Research Analysis Division (IRAD), together with the Cajidiocan Municipal Police Station of Romblon Provincial Police Office, with intelligence support and coordination from the Regional Intelligence Division, PRO MIMAROPA, and the Provincial Intelligence Unit, Romblon PPO.

The arrest was carried out by virtue of three (3) Warrants of Arrest for the non-bailable crimes of Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention (two counts) issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC), National Capital Judicial Region (NCJR), Branch 274, Parañaque City, and RTC, NCJR, Branch 114, Pasay City, as well as Kidnapping for Ransom and Serious Illegal Detention issued by RTC, NCJR, Branch 108, Pasay City.

In a statement, PBGEN BADUA commended the operating units for the successful arrest of a high-value fugitive.

“I commend our MIMAROPA police and the Anti-Kidnapping Group for their effective coordination, intelligence-driven operations, and disciplined ex*****on that led to the arrest of a top-ranking AKG-listed most wanted person,” PBGEN BADUA said.

“This accomplishment reflects the unified efforts of our national, regional, and local police units. Rest assured that we will continue to sustain focused operations to ensure that criminals are arrested and held accountable under the law,” he added.

The arrested individual is currently under police custody and will be turned over to the issuing courts for proper disposition. # # #

PNP STATEMENT

The Philippine National Police reiterates its firm commitment to discipline, professionalism, and ethical conduct as the core foundations of the police service. The PNP Code of Professional Conduct and Ethical Standards strictly governs the behavior of all personnel to protect the integrity of the organization and sustain public trust.

The PNP maintains a policy of zero tolerance for any immoral, illegal, or unethical act that tarnishes the image of the service or undermines public confidence.

All PNP personnel are reminded that they are expected to remain physically, emotionally, and psychologically fit to perform their duties at all times. Any behavior that impairs judgment, weakens control, or poses risk to others is unacceptable. Police authority, particularly the handling of fi****ms and enforcement powers, must always be exercised with restraint, vigilance, and full accountability.

Unit commanders and heads of offices are directed to enforce close supervision, uphold strict discipline, and act decisively on any misconduct. Command responsibility applies at all levels, and failure to enforce standards will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

The PNP emphasizes that wearing the uniform is a privilege that carries immense responsibility. Discipline, accountability, and integrity are non-negotiable in ensuring that the organization remains worthy of the trust and confidence of the Filipino people.
