DAY 7 -Under the Leadership of PLTCOL JAMES CARLO RODRIGUEZ, Chief of Police, ACPS In the case-based Phase 3 CAP, we cadets were thrust into the gritty realism of actual crime scenarios through detailed simulations, a transformative experience that went beyond theoretical knowledge. Engaging in these simulations, we encountered the unpredictability and complexity of real-life situations, forcing us to apply our learned skills under pressure. This hands-on approach fostered critical thinking, quick decision-making, and teamwork, crucial elements in the field of law enforcement. Moreover, it highlighted the importance of emotional resilience and ethical considerations, as we navigated the fine line between assertiveness and sensitivity. Reflecting on these experiences, it's evident that such simulations are invaluable, bridging the gap between classroom learning and the realities of policing, thereby preparing us more holitably for our future roles as law enforcement officers.
