MULING BUBUKSAN ANG IMBESTIGASYON SA FLOOD CONTROL SCAM

Umapela si Sen. Imee Marcos sa magkapatid na sina Sen Alan Cayetano at Sen. Pia Cayetano na muling buksan ang imbestigasyon ng Blue Ribbon Committee kaugnay ng umano’y anomalya sa mga flood control project.

Matatandaang nitong nakaraang linggo ay naitalaga si Sen. Pia bilang bagong chairperson ng naturang komite.

Tiniyak naman ni Sen. Pia na rerepasuhin niya ang mga kasong nairefer sa Blue Ribbon Committee upang matukoy kung alin ang dapat bigyang prayoridad.

Samantala, iginiit ni Sen. Imee na dapat nang mabunyag ang buong katotohanan sa likod ng umano’y korapsyon sa flood control projects.

Ayon pa sa senadora, mahalagang maipatawag sa pagdinig ang 18 marines, si dating kongresista Zaldy Co, pati na rin ang mga Bersamin upang malinawan ang publiko sa isyu.

Dagdag pa niya, kinakailangang lumabas ang katotohanan sa kontrobersiyang kinahaharap ng usapin.

‘PLEASE DO NOT BE AN ACCESSORY TO BRINGING MY HUSBAND TO THE HAGUE’

Ganito ang naging panawagan ni Nancy Dela Rosa sa Philippine courts kaugnay sa pagpapatupad ng International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant laban sa kanyang asawa na si Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

“Please do not be an accessory to bringing my husband to the Hague. Every filipino must be tried in his own country. Granting the people in power permission to voluntary surrender another filipino is an admission that you are weak and INCAPABLE of handling this case, thus the need for an international court to intervene. You are a group of great minds. This is just another case sensationalized only by Politics. Please do not waver or give in. Please,” wika nito sa kanyang post.

“Please do not give up your responsibility for our countrymen. Please fight for our sovereign rights. Your decision will be remembered in history. Please make it count,” dagdag pa nito.

Dr. Tony Leachon filed plunder and technical malversation complaints before the Office of the Ombudsman against Executive Secretary Ralph Recto and other officials over the alleged diversion of P60 billion in PhilHealth reserve funds and P107 billion from the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC).
