Community Outreach Activity | July 22, 2026
In celebration of Diabetes Awareness Month and Nutrition Month, the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital – Department of Internal Medicine, in partnership with the Outpatient Department – Public Health Unit, successfully conducted a community outreach activity at Brgy. Balaring, Silay City.
The activity featured health education sessions on diabetes, nutrition, and headache awareness, promoting healthier lifestyles and empowering the community through health education.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the residents of Brgy. Balaring, Silay City, for their warm welcome, active participation, and enthusiastic support, which made this outreach activity truly meaningful.
This successful initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of our Chief of Hospital, Dr. Josephine Pahamtang; Chief of Clinics, Dr. Francis Gabriel Relota; OPD Department Head, Dr. Dael; IM Residency Training Officer, Dr. Gerard Paul Espeleta; the Department of Internal Medicine Resident Doctors; Dr. Wilson Tulmo, Neurologist; the Dietary Section, headed by Ms. Trini; the Nursing Department, headed by Ms. Zenia; and all the doctors, nurses, and staff of TLJPH, whose dedication, teamwork, and commitment made this community outreach activity possible.
