✨ LYDO JOINS KADA TRAINING ✨

The Silay City Local Youth Development Office actively participates in the Key Assistance for Developing Adolescent (KADA) Training at the Sen. Jose C. Locsin Cultural and Civic Center, this August 5 to 6, 2026📚✨

This capacity-building activity will equip the participating offices with deeper knowledge, better strategies, and stronger commitment to guide, support, and empower the youth of Silay City. Through KADA, the participants will learn how to better address the needs of our young people — helping them grow into responsible, capable, and active citizens.

Also participating is the SK Federation of Silay City represented by SK Federation President, Jhon Mhil Acerada together with SK Chairpersons: Hon. Shassy Belle Olvido, Hon. Clement Cepeda, Hon. Maybelle Bacoyani, and Hon. Toffy Amador.

The Silay City Local Youth Development Council proudly takes part in the Dagyaw: Bangon Bayan Youth Camp 2026 held in Bago City, Negros Occidental on July 31 to August 2. This province-wide gathering brings together dedicated youth leaders from across the region to learn, connect, and stand together as one force for community progress.

The participation of Pang-pang Youth Org. and PYAP Silay City Chapter brings meaningful benefits to our youth and our city; wherein, they will gain enhanced skills in leadership, governance, and project planning; build lasting partnerships with fellow youth councils and stakeholders across Negros Occidental; exchange proven best practices and fresh ideas for youth development; strengthen our solidarity as Kabataang Negrense ; and bring home valuable insights to craft more responsive, inclusive programs for Silay City.
