Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Earthquake Drill at Basic First Aid Training para sa mga estudyante mula sa University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) bilang bahagi ng kanilang NSTP Community Service.

Sa pakikipagtulungan ng MDRRMO at ng BFP, naibahagi ang mahahalagang kaalaman at kasanayan sa tamang pagtugon sa oras ng sakuna, lalo na sa lindol at pagbibigay ng paunang lunas.

Maraming salamat sa mga estudyante ng UEP sa kanilang aktibong pakikiisa at kooperasyon. Nawa ay magamit ninyo ang inyong mga natutunan sa totoong sitwasyon.

Patuloy nating isulong ang pagiging handa at ligtas na komunidad.

PUBLIC ADVISORY: MONITORING OF SILVINO LUBOS SUBA AND PAMBUJAN RIVER WATER LEVEL & SAFETY REMINDERS

This afternoon, our active and service-oriented Mayor, Hon. Leo L. Jarito, together with our Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (MDRRMO), Mr. Rovic G. Pantua and his team, together with the PNP, BFP and the AFP conducted on-site monitoring of the water level along the riverside due to the continued rise in water levels in the Silvino Lubos Suba and Pambujan River.

Based on their assessment, a further increase in water level is expected, which may potentially cause flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.

In light of this, we strongly advise the public especially those residing near the Suba Pambujan River and in known flood-prone areas. to stay alert and be prepared to evacuate early if necessary.

We also remind our barangay officials to conduct bandillo (public announcement) and proactively advise residents especially the elderly, persons with disabilities, and families with young children to prepare for possible preemptive evacuation. Pet and livestock safety should also be considered in evacuation plans.

Let us work together to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, especially those who are most vulnerable.
