Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR-CCA) Training

The DSWD, through the KALAHI-CIDSS Program, continues to implement the Philippine Community Resilience Program (PCRP). As part of the program implementation, both the Municipal and Barangay Resilience Teams are undergoing a two-day training on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR-CCA) on September 24–25, 2026.

Held at the GAD Center, the training gathered a total of 308 participants from the municipal and barangay levels. Due to the large number of participants, both the ground floor and second floor of the GAD Building are being utilized to accommodate everyone and provide a conducive learning environment.

The activity aims to strengthen the teams’ knowledge, preparedness, and capacity to respond to disaster risks and climate-related challenges, ultimately contributing to safer, stronger, and more resilient communities🧒👨👱‍♀️👧👩‍🦳
