The Siocon Municipal Fire Station, headed by FSINSP ROQUE A SABIJON JR, Municipal Fire Marshal, and SFO4 Gerardo L Paraguya Jr., Deputy Municipal Fire Marshal, paid a Courtesy Call to the Head/Manager of ZAMSURECO II / ZANECO – Siocon.

The courtesy call aimed to establish and strengthen professional coordination, partnership, and good working relations between the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and ZAMSURECO II/ZANECO, particularly in promoting fire prevention, electrical safety, emergency preparedness, and community protection.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of close coordination and mutual support in addressing fire-related incidents involving electrical hazards and other emergencies within the community.

The Siocon MFS extends its appreciation to the management and personnel of ZAMSURECO II / ZANECO – Siocon for the warm welcome and continued cooperation. Through strong partnerships and collaborative efforts, we can work together toward a safer, more prepared, and resilient community.

TRADITIONAL FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

The Siocon Municipal Fire Station personnel, headed by FSINSP ROQUE A SABIJON JR, Municipal Fire Marshal, actively participated in the Traditional Flag Raising Ceremony held on 05 October 2026.

The ceremony served as a meaningful start to the week, fostering patriotism, discipline, unity, and commitment to public service among BFP personnel.

For this week’s Troop Information, FO1 Marlon V. Reyes served as the Troop Information Speaker,emphasizing the importance of helping one another, building strong camaraderie, and working together as one team.
His message highlighted that mutual support, teamwork, and unity among personnel are essential in effectively carrying out the Bureau’s mission and providing quality service to the community.

The activity was followed by the Rank Inspection, ensuring the proper appearance, discipline, and readiness of all personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities, also included the Turnover of Duty and Responsibility, ensuring the proper transfer of operational duties, accountability, and important station matters from the outgoing to the incoming personnel. This practice promotes continuity, coordination, and readiness in the delivery of fire protection and emergency services.

The activity reinforces the Bureau’s commitment to maintaining a disciplined, responsive, and service-oriented workforce dedicated to protecting lives and properties and ensuring the safety of the community.

The activity provided an opportunity for stakeholders to share their insights, experiences, and identified needs that may contribute to relevant and responsive research initiatives. It also strengthened the partnership between the Bureau of Fire Protection and the University, fostering collaboration in addressing community concerns through research and innovation.

Siocon Municipal Fire Station Personnel, headed by FSINSP ROQUE A SABIJON JR., Municipal Fire Marshal, participated in the Refresher Lecture Webinar on Public Information conducted by the Office of the Public Information Service, Bureau of Fire Protection Region IX.

The webinar was conducted to reinforce and update the knowledge and skills of BFP personnel in the effective, accurate, and responsible dissemination of information concerning the Bureau’s programs, activities, accomplishments, and public safety initiatives.
