3 SEPTEMBER 2026|| FIRE SAFETY LECTURE AND DISTRIBUTION OF FIRE SAFETY LEAFLETS

Siocon MFS Personnel headed by FSINSP ROQUE A SABIJON JR., Municipal Fire Marshal conducted a Fire Safety Lecture and Distribution of Fire Safety Leaflets to 4P's beneficiaries in line with the DSWD Family Development Session at Brgy. Manaol Covered Court and Siocon Gymnasium, Brgy Poblacion, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte.

The activity aimed to enhance the awareness of families on fire prevention and basic fire safety practices at home and in the community. Participants were also provided with fire safety leaflets containing practical reminders and safety tips to help prevent fire incidents and protect lives and property.

The BFP continues to strengthen its partnership with the community and promote a culture of fire prevention, preparedness, and safety among Filipino families.

3 SEPTEMBER 2026||NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL FOR ACTIVE ATTACK INCIDENTS

Siocon MFS Personnel headed by FSINSP ROQUE A SABIJON JR., Municipal Fire Marshal, actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents together with PNP and MDRRMO at Siocon Central School, Siocon,Zamboanga Del Norte.

The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities of school personnel, learners, and emergency responders in dealing with potential active attack incidents and other emergencies.

Through this collaborative effort the BFP, PNP, and MDRRMO reinforced the importance of “Run, Hide, Fight,” emergency communication, situational awareness, and coordinated response to help protect lives and ensure a safer learning environment.

Siocon MFS Personnel headed by FSINSP ROQUE A SABIJON JR ., Municipal Fire Marshal donated fire extinguishers to the Barangay M. Francisco and Barangay Matiag Child Development Centers in Siocon, Zamboanga Del Norte.

The activity aimed to strengthen fire safety and preparedness in the community, particularly in child development centers where young children are among the most vulnerable during emergencies. The donated fire extinguishers will serve as an essential safety equipment that can help control and prevent the spread of fire during its early stages.

The personnel also emphasized the correct way to use a fire extinguisher. Through this initiative, Siocon MFS continues to promote a culture of safety and preparedness while strengthening its partnership with the community.

30 August 2026|||EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE

OOA 1041H – A walk-in patient arrived at the station requesting wound dressing for an abrasion on the posterior aspect of his body sustained from a scratch caused by his cat. The patient was immediately assisted into a comfortable sitting position. Upon assessment, an abrasion was noted on the affected area.The patient's vital signs were taken and recorded as follows: BP – 120/80 mmHg; PR – 96 bpm; RR – 20 cpm; SpO₂ – 99%; T – 36.8°C. Appropriate first aid was provided. Wound care was performed by cleansing the affected area with an antiseptic solution and applying a clean dressing. The patient was assessed to be in stable condition and was advised to seek further medical evaluation at a medical facility. However, he refused transport. 1047H – The patient left the station in stable condition.
