Different stories, different dreams, but one goal—to grow, connect, and support one another as young people.

Day 2 of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 was filled with teamwork, learning, friendship, and fun! From building stronger bonds through Team Building, supporting young learners through Educational Assistance, creating new friendships through Pakig-Abyan, to celebrating together during our Social Night, every activity brought us closer as one youth community.

Day 2 reminded us that no matter how different our experiences may be, we can always come together, help one another, and work toward a better future

“DIFFERENT CONTEXTS, COMMON ASPIRATIONS” ✨

Different interests. Different stories. Different ways of making an impact—but one common dream: a better, stronger, and more empowered future for every young person.

Day 1 of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 was filled with energy, purpose, learning, and meaningful connections! From serving our community to celebrating youth, we showed that every young person has a role to play.

From cleaning our shores to moving our bodies, learning about our finances, celebrating together, and strengthening youth participation, Day 1 reminded us that our contexts may be different—but our aspirations can bring us together.

“Different Contexts, Common Aspirations”

This August 30–31, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Barangay 5 invites all young people to come together and celebrate Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 at the Barangay 5 Covered Court!

With the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” this celebration recognizes that although we may come from different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, we share the same hopes and aspirations for a better community and a brighter future.

To make this celebration meaningful, exciting, and memorable, the SK Council has prepared a variety of activities designed to promote fun, friendship, wellness, environmental responsibility, creativity, education, financial awareness, leadership, and youth empowerment. 🙌

Madamo nga mga exciting nga programa kag aktibidades ang gin-handa sang inyo Barangay Cinco SK Council para sa inyo tanan!

Sa kaangtanan sang sini nga selebrasyon ang isa sa madinaugon natun nga programa sang nanligad nga tuig aton igabalik, ang bulig eSKwela 2026 isa ka inisyatibo sang Barangay Cinco SK Council nga nagalayon nga mag palab-ot bulig pinansyal sa mga kwalipikado nga mga estudyante sa hayskul kag kolehiyo.

MGA BENEPISYARYO:
Aton nga pagapilion ang 15 ka High School students kag 15 ka College students nga mangin opisyal nga benepisyaryo sang sini nga programa.

📅 DEADLINE SANG PAG-SUBMIT:
Mabatun kita sang inyo mga aplikasyon kag requirements tubtob sa Agosto 26, 2026 lamang. Mag-submit na samtang may oras pa!

Ang kumpleto nga kwalipikasyon, kinahanglanon nga dokumento (requirements), kag mga kaangtanan nga guidelines nakakabit na sa mismo nga litrato/photo nga nakaupod sa sini nga post. Please check the attached photo carefully!

Hi everyone!

Please be informed that the Covered Court will be temporarily closed starting today, July 31, 2026 until August 2, 2026 as we repaint and prepare the facility for our upcoming August activities.

The court will be ready to welcome everyone again on August 3, 2026.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!

As part of our mission of promoting nutritious meal for all especially on youth, the Barangay 5 Sangguniang Kabataan Council in partnership with Sipalay City National High School successfully conducted "NutriLunch 2026.". This program aims to share nutritious lunch among 50 selected students of SCNHS-Jr. High School that will aid one meal of the day.

We are expressing our deep gratitude to Mr. Joan Sayson principal of SCNHS for the warm welcome and appreciation of the program. Also to the teachers and non-teaching staff who assisted us during the distribution of lunch packages. Dear SCHNS students-participants thank you for your cooperation and heartfelt response to our team.

May this be continue, grow and reach more young ones to introduce better meal to enjoy on their tables.

In celebration of Nutrition Month, the SK Council of Brgy. 5 will hold "NUTRI-LUNCH" on July 24, 2026—a special initiative providing free, nutritious meals to underweight students at SCNHS.

Last July 20, 2026, SK Chairperson April Rose S. Egay and SK Treasurer Ms. Monaliza Bulontate visited the Principal’s Office to officially launch the program and reinforce our dedication to youth wellness.

Small collective efforts from every single member of this team make and leave a lasting impression on how we embrace the work we are called to do. Through the leadership of our honorable SK Chairperson, Hon. April Rose Egay, the dedication of the team has been recognized with a rewarding acknowledgment of the teamwork of Barangay 5 SK Council.

It is never easy, as everyone also has personal and career responsibilities, yet no one has neglected their duty to the youth in our community. As we continue to believe and strive to bring change and hope, we know the future begins within us.

We share this award with the entire youth community, our parents, mentors, and Barangay officials and City Officials who have believed in and supported us along the way. All praise and gratitude be to God, who continually guides the heart and soul of this team.

We are blessed, grateful, and hopeful for more in the future, knowing that the youth are actively engaged—compassionate, dedicated, and accountable.
