The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture โ€“ Sipocot successfully conducted its first day of training for the MS 1 cadets on August 29, 2026. The activity marked the beginning of their ROTC training, where cadets participated in formations, received instructions, and took part in activities that tested their discipline, focus, and ability to work as a unit.

Take a glimpse into the discipline, dedication, and commitment shown by our MS 1 cadets as they took their first steps in their ROTC journey. From standing in formation to following commands and maintaining proper bearing, every part of the training reflects the effort and determination expected from every cadet throughout the program.

The Central Bicol State University of Agricultureโ€“Sipocot ROTC Unit officially commenced its first training day for Military Science 1 (MS1) on 29 August 2026.

At exactly 0630, the cadets assembled for formation and basic military drills prior to the flag-raising ceremony, which was rendered by the CBSUA Band.

Following the ceremony, the ROTC officers facilitated the designation of cadets to their respective battalions and ensured the proper organization and accountability of personnel within the unit. The 1st Battalion was assigned to the CBSUA-Sipocot Gymnasium; the 2nd and 3rd Battalions to the Cultural Hall; the 4th and 5th Battalions to the area in front of the College of Education Building; and the 6th Battalion to the Student Center.

At 0959, all battalions reconvened at the Cultural Hall for attendance checking and a general orientation facilitated and conducted by SSg Alan D Mondigo (Inf) PA. The orientation covered essential matters concerning the ROTC Unit, including the grading system, demerit system, attendance policies, and the benefits of the Advanced ROTC Program.

The activity also included the selection of aspiring sponsors and escorts and the election of the new batch officers for School Year 2026โ€“2027. These activities established the foundation for effective leadership, discipline, and organizational development among the cadets.

The first training day officially marked the start of another semester of ROTC training, with all cadets expected to uphold the core values of discipline, commitment, leadership, service, and teamwork throughout the training period.

The Central Bicol State University of Agricultureโ€“Sipocot ROTC Unit officially opened School Year 2026โ€“2027 through an Opening Ceremony and Orientation on August 22, 2026, at the CBSUAโ€“Sipocot Cultural Hall.

The activity began exactly 0916 with the entrance of colors led by ROTC officers. This was followed by the singing of Philippine National Anthem.

Assoc. Prof. Mercy L Navarro delivered the welcome remarks, while MAJ JUNALD V LACSAMANA (QMS) PA led the presentation of cadets. COL FEROZALDO PAUL T REGENCIA INF GSC PA (RES), ROTC Commandant, formally declared the cadets for the opening and delivered the commandantโ€™s message. Prof. Rowel M Castuera, Campus Administrator, also delivered a message during the ceremony.

The succeeding orientation was facilitated by COL REGENCIA, who introduced the training staff and discussed the ROTC objectives, benefits, and Program of Instruction (POI). Meanwhile, SSg Alan D Mondigo (INF) PA, Chief Clerk, presented the ROTC grading system.

The activity formally marked the start of another year of military training and leadership development, reinforcing the core values of Honor, Patriotism, and Duty among CBSUAโ€“Sipocot cadets.

The Cadet Officers of CBSUA-Sipocot ROTC Unit participated at the 10th Blood Donation Activity with a Theme: Ang Inyong Matatag na Tagapag-buo ng Laang Kawal on 15 August 2026 held at CBSUA-Pili Campus, San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur.

At exactly 0900 the CBSUAโ€“Sipocot ROTC contingent departed from Sipocot and arrived in Pili at approximately 1010. By 1330, all donors had successfully completed the blood donation activity, reflecting their commitment to service and community support.

The activity ended on a positive note, emphasizing the ROTCโ€™s commitment to community service and the importance of contributing to the well-being of others. Through the collective efforts of the participants and donors, the activity demonstrated the value of compassion, cooperation, and selfless service in making a meaningful contribution to the community.
