The Local Government Unit of Sison successfully conducted the Solo Parent Empowerment and Orientation Seminar last October 23, 2025.

This one-day Orientation Seminar aimed at educating and empowering solo parents through informative sessions on R.A. 11861 (Expanded Solo Parent Welfare Act), R.A. 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004), and Basic Concept on Gender and Development.

The activity provided a meaningful opportunity for learning, self-awareness, and empowerment reminding every solo parents of their rights, roles and the importance of gender equality and protection from all forms of abuse. #

Our heartfelt thank you to our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Leicester P. Fetalvero, for the unwavering support and commitment to programs that promote family welfare and community empowerment.
