The adventure culminated in a spectacular display of light and unity at the Provincial Capitol. Witnessing the "extravagantly beautiful" dancing lights initiated by Governor Ramon "Mon-mon" Guico III, Mayor Alma "Cares" Lomibao and the gang joined the ranks of tourists and families gathered under the night sky. In the glow of these illuminated fountains, political hierarchies dissolve, replaced by a collective sense of wonder. Seeing families gathered together serves as a reminder that the ultimate goal of any leader is to foster environments where such beauty and harmony can thrive. It was a perfect ending to a brief escape, proving that when good people come together, the view is always worth the journey.

The heart of the excursion found its sanctuary at the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. Stepping away from the noise of political discourse, Mayor Alma "Cares" Lomibao and the gang sought a moment of spiritual clarity at the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. The act of lighting a candle and offering a silent prayer for the townspeople of Sison overshadows political lines. It represents a leader’s quiet devotion to her people. It is that moment where "Cares" is not just a moniker, but a spiritual practice. This pause at the Basilica highlights the beauty of a leadership that seeks guidance and peace beyond the administrative desk.

Sweet Stops and Shared Traditions

Mayor Alma "Cares" Lomibao slips away from the bustles of politics to a stop at a local "pasalubong" store in Moreno, Binalonan. Here, amidst the shelves of local snacks and delicacies, the atmosphere was defined by friendship rather than protocol. This simple act of buying treats serves as a beautiful metaphor for community bonding; it is about shared tastes, local support, and the joy of bringing something back to others. In these aisles, the Mayor was not just a public official, but a friend and a neighbor, proving that the best often happens over the simplest of comforts.

In the demanding world of public service, where the clock is often governed by urgent mandates and political complexities, Mayor Alma "Cares" Lomibao reminds us that leadership is best when it is rooted in simple, human connection. She believes that to lead a community effectively, one must also take the time to breathe with it. She demonstrated that team building is not just a formal exercise, but a rhythmic pause to appreciate the "good people" who also comprise the heartbeat of Sison.

Mayor Alma 'Cares' Lomibao recently turned a team-building and charity event into a seemingly State of the Town Address (SOTA), focusing on immense improvements in infrastructures in her still short tenure of service and a "welcoming" environment for everyone at the Municipal Hall.

During the assembly, Mayor Lomibao emphasized the transition of the "Balay ti ili ti Sison".

While some residents viewed these ambitious plans as "castles in the air," the administration maintains that they are fiscally and technically doable - too farfetched projects but are workable and aimed to drastically reduce travel time and boost local commerce. Ang pahayag na ito ay nagdulot ng hiyawan at dumagundong ang maagang pasasalamat sa labis na tuwa ng mga coordinators ng mga nabanggit na mga barangay.

Addressing the seasonal droughts that affect many villages in Sison, Mayor Lomibao announced a practical solution for the town's water crisis. The million-peso yellow water tank near the Sison Central Integrated School, which had remained insufficient and almost non-functional, is slated for relocation to Poblacion Sur. Ililipat ang multi-million worth water tank to high-yield spring location in Poblacion Sur. This move leverages a newly discovered, high-capacity spring capable of supplying Poblacion Central and neighboring areas. This endeavor will also hasten our town plaza's rebirth as a verdant paradise, blooming in splendor to rival our neighboring towns' finest.

A similar initiative is also on the process for implementation in Barangay Bila - to tap into its lavish water sources, ensuring that the municipality's utility assets finally serve their intended purpose.

She also proudly announced that ten more rescue/emergency vehicles will soon be dispatched to ten more barangays.

Amidst the euphoric atmosphere of the assembly, many stood up, not to solicit for more projects, but to applaud the mayor and express their overwhelming gratitude for the significant improvements in their respective barangays, achieved despite her relatively yet short tenure.
