Tech4Ed Sison, Pangasinan Tech4ED is a project of the DOST-ICT Office that aims to harness ICT to bridge the digital divide and alleviate poverty in both urban and rural areas.

TECHNOLOGY FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (Tech4ED)

The eSociety Group is the ICT Office’s arm in reaching the two major thrusts of the Philippine Digital Strategy namely: Internet opportunities for all people and investing in people through digital literacy. The eSociety will strengthen the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to open opportunities to the underserved and marginalized

by providing internet connection through TV White Space (TVWS) Technologies and establishing Tech4ED Centers (Tech4ED) as knowledge hubs and delivery channels of government services, digital literacy trainings, alternative learning for basic education, skills training for livelihood and employment, job portals and online marketplace.
