𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗠 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗜

On May 30, 2026, Dr. Kadil M. Sinolinding Jr., Minister of Health of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), together with Dr. Sangkula Ladja and their team, visited the Municipality of Sitangkai.

As part of their visit, the Health teams conducted an inspection of the proposed hospital site in Sitangkai, highlighting the commitment of the BARMM Government to strengthen and improve healthcare services for the people of the municipality.

Joining the visit were Sangguniang Bayan Members Hji. Mohammad K. Yusoph, Chairperson of the Committee on Health, Hja. Radzata A. Asaali, Hji. Bryan Hapas, and Hja. Merilyn A. Joe, who expressed their full support for initiatives that will bring better medical facilities and healthcare access to the residents of Sitangkai.

This significant visit marks another step forward toward the realization of a modern healthcare facility that will serve the growing needs of the community and contribute to the overall development of Sitangkai INSHAALLAH!

On May 30, 2026, the Office of the Mayor of Sitangkai warmly welcomed RADM Constancio Arturo M. Reyes Jr. PN, Commander of the Western Mindanao Naval Command (WMNC), during his courtesy visit to the municipality.

Local Government Unit of Sitangkai, OIC Mayor Hji. Mohammad K. Yusoph graciously received and welcomed the Commander, reaffirming the strong partnership and cooperation between the LGU and the Armed Forces in promoting peace, security, and development in the municipality.

The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, discuss matters of mutual concern, and further enhance efforts toward the welfare and progress of the people of Sitangkai.

LGU-SITANGKAI MOBILE BIRTH REGISTRATION 2026 📢

The Local Government Unit of Sitangkai successfully conducted a 2-Day Mobile Birth Registration Activity on May 30–31, 2026, dedicated to serving our Native Sama communities and ensuring that every individual has access to legal identity and civil registration.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the partnership and support of UNICEF, MSSD, UNHCR, and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), bringing essential government services closer to the people.

Through this activity, many Native Sama families were given the opportunity to register births, secure legal documentation, and strengthen their access to education, healthcare, social protection, and other basic services.

The LGU-Sitangkai extends its heartfelt gratitude to all partner agencies, community leaders, volunteers, and participants whose dedication made this activity a success. Together, we continue to promote inclusivity, protect the rights of every child, and build a future where no one is left behind.

Every child deserves a name, an identity, and a future.

📖🌙 Qur'an Reading Contest 2026 🌙📖

As part of the joyous celebration of Eid Al-Adha 1447 H, a Qur'an Reading Contest was successfully held on May 28, 2026, bringing together participants who showcased their dedication, knowledge, and beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur'an.

This meaningful event was proudly sponsored by the LGU-Sitangkai under the leadership of Mayor Hji. Allan K. Ahaja, whose unwavering support continues to promote Islamic values, religious education, and community unity among the people of Sitangkai.

Congratulations to all participants and winners for their inspiring performances. May this event encourage everyone, especially the youth, to deepen their love for the Holy Qur'an and strengthen their faith.

The Municipality of Sitangkai successfully hosted the Public Consultation on the Proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) 2027.

The consultation gathered local officials, stakeholders, and community members to discuss the proposed updates to the Schedule of Market Values for residential, commercial, and agricultural lands.

During the activity, presentations and discussions were delivered by representatives from the Provincial Assessor’s Office and BLGF-BARMM, providing participants with the rationale behind the proposed revisions and their importance in promoting transparent and fair real property valuation.

Included in this post are highlights from the consultation together with the published schedule of market values for reference and public information.
