DISTRIBUTION OF DOLE LIVELIHOOD GOODS TO SOLO PARENT BENEFICIARIES
The Local Government Unit of Socorro, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), successfully conducted the Distribution of Livelihood Goods on July 23, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium, Socorro, Surigao del Norte.
Through the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), a total livelihood grant of โฑ2,976,513.00 was awarded to 71 Solo Parent beneficiaries, providing them with sustainable livelihood opportunities to improve their economic well-being and become more self-reliant.
Under this project: 33 Solo Parent beneficiaries received Sari-Sari Store livelihood goods; and 38 Solo Parent beneficiaries received rice stocks for Rice Retailing.
This initiative reflects the government's commitment to empowering solo parents by providing them with the necessary resources to establish and sustain income-generating enterprises that will help improve their families' quality of life.

Your support played a vital role in the successful realization of this project.
