🔥🔥🔥 HISTORY MADE IN SOGOD! 🔥🔥🔥
The Bureau of Fire Protection, in strong collaboration with the MDRRMO, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, and the Municipal Health Office, successfully conducted the first-ever Fire and Rescue Olympics on March 31, 2026, at the Panagsogod Festival Area.
This groundbreaking event showcased the skills, strength, and teamwork of our dedicated responders through a series of challenging fire and rescue simulations—highlighting rapid response, coordination, and lifesaving techniques in action. 🚒⛑️
More than just a competition, the activity served as a platform to strengthen inter-agency cooperation, enhance operational readiness, and promote public awareness on emergency response and disaster preparedness. It also highlighted the unwavering commitment of our frontline personnel to protect lives, property, and the community.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude and full support to Mayor Moonyeen Durano-Streegan, Vice Mayor Richard Streegan, the Local Government of Sogod, and everyone who extended their time, effort, and assistance in making this activity possible. Your leadership and collaboration were instrumental to the success of this milestone event.
Congratulations to all participating teams and partners for making this milestone event a success! Your dedication continues to inspire a safer and more resilient Sogod.
