AT THE MOMENT | Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) Training for Lupong Tagapamayapa

Today is the first day of the first batch of participants of LGU Sogod's KP Training entitled "Justice at the Grassroots: Basic Training on Katarungang Pambarangay and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)" at the SLSU Plenary Hall, San Roque, Sogod, So. Leyte.

The training will run for two days each batch from April 6 to 11, 2026, and will focus on capacitating the Lupon Members in mediating disputes filed in the barangay. Atty. Maria Fiona D. Merquita, MLGOO of Sogod, and Ms. Maria Imelda A. Orilla, MLGOO of San Francisco, serve as the resource persons for this training.

Mr. Reynaldo A. Golo, the Municipal Administrator, also gave a message to the participants on behalf of the local government.
