The celebration also featured the Amazing Race for Mental Health, where personnel and PDL participated in nine (9) stages of puzzle games and mental challenges designed to strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and cooperation.
Beyond the challenges, the activity provided participants with an opportunity to unwind, enjoy meaningful interactions, and experience moments of happiness, fostering unity, positive morale, and emotional resilience within the facility.
Through initiatives like this, Solano District Jail reinforces the importance of creating an environment where mental health is recognized, conversations are encouraged, and every individual is given the opportunity to be heard and supported.
