Thank you, Department of Education (DepEd), for this meaningful and practical support through the provision of lapel microphones for teachers. For us at Sawanga National High School, this simple device is a big help in making our voices clearer and our teaching more comfortable.

Especially in classrooms with a large number of learners, the lapel microphone helps teachers avoid constantly raising their voices, reducing vocal strain and fatigue. It allows us to move freely, communicate more clearly, reach learners at the back, and conserve our energy for what matters most—teaching and connecting with our learners.

A lapel may be small, but its impact is significant. When teachers are supported, we can teach better, serve better, and give more to our learners. Thank you, DepEd, for recognizing the everyday needs of teachers and providing support that truly makes a difference.

🎭 CLASSROOM-BASED CULMINATING ACTIVITY | CONTEMPORARY PHILIPPINE ARTS IN THE REGIONS🎭

“Because art is not just something we study. Art is something we create, experience, and share.”✨

The Grade 12 GAS and TVL learners proudly showcased their creativity, talent, and meaningful perspectives through their Classroom-Based Theater Play as part of their culminating activity in Contemporary Philippine Arts in the Regions, under the guidance of their teacher, Maria Andrea Soliman.

🎭GROUP 1 — “Boto ng Tama, Boto ng Tapat”
Directed by Asley Nogales | GAS12
A performance that highlights the importance of making the right decisions and being responsible in exercising our right to vote.

🎭GROUP 2 — “Behind the Smile”
Directed by Jenny Roferos | GAS 12
Behind every smile, there may be a story, a struggle, or something we do not immediately see. This performance reminds us to look beyond what is visible and understand the stories behind every person.

🎭GROUP 3 — “Para Kanino ang Kapangyarihan?”
Directed by Angel Destajo
Our TVL 12 learners shared their perspectives and message about power, people, and society, encouraging everyone to reflect on who power truly serves and how it affects our communities.

More than a classroom performance, this activity became a space for our learners to express ideas, explore social realities, collaborate with one another, and bring art to life.❤️🎭

The Grade 12 students extend their deepest gratitude to the Senior High School teachers and our School Principal, Sir Alex Barrameda, for taking the time to watch, encourage, and support them throughout this meaningful experience.

Your presence and support made this culminating activity even more memorable for our learners. 🙌

Congratulations, Grade 12 GAS and TVL! Your voices, creativity, and passion have truly made the stage come alive. 🎭✨

Our sincere appreciation to Sir Albert D. Dechavez, Sir Milven D. Estrada and Sir Alex D. Barrameda, our school principal for taking the lead in the conduct of this activity. Extended thanks to our teachers for the participation and cooperation.
