As the sun beamed from its sleep extending its orange rays through the green vast of Sorsogon, early birds of DAR Sorsogon validation team take their heads-on journey on bringing hope to the food producers across the province.

The validation, being the first step in the parcelization of collective CLOAs for individual titling, commenced during the last week of August and extended in the first two weeks of September benefiting 38 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries from the municipalities of Bulan, Casiguran, Castilla, Juban, and Matnog.

Braving the blazing heat and rolling waves, the DAR Sorsogon Validation Team successfully validated a total of 47.1334 hectares. The team was led by Legal Officer Atty. Rejel A. Guariña and Parcelization Support Staff Stephanie Dechavez, alongside Ellanie Flores (ARPT / Verifier), Engr. James Lomerio (Geodetic Engineer), Ameluisa R. Halcon (Processor), Angelica Eve F. Pardiñas (ESS Documenter), and Romel I. Atractivo (Documenter).

The total area validated covers 18.95 hectares in Gate, Bulan; 1.298 hectares in Gogon, Casiguran; and 3.5069 hectares in Cogon, Castilla. In Juban, validated areas include 2.8342 hectares in Brgy. Calateo, 5.5001 hectares in Brgy. Jagusara, and 1.7025 hectares in Brgy. Rangas. Finally, in Matnog, the coverage comprises 4.9289 hectares and 1.8144 hectares in Brgy. Mambahog, 1.5777 hectares in Brgy. Tugas, and 5.0249 hectares in Brgy. Coron-Coron.

With these 47.1334 hectares officially validated, DAR Sorsogon reinforces its unwavering commitment in hastening individual land titling under the SPLIT Project. By bridging the gap between land ownership and agricultural productivity, the agency ensures that every validated parcel brings lasting security to Sorsogon's farmers. A living proof that no mountain is too steep and no sea too wide when it comes to serving the nation’s primary food producers.

SPLIT Project Update: The SPLIT Project implementation of the Department of Agrarian Reform Sorsogon was inspected by the Regional Project Monitoring Team (RMPT) of the Bicol Regional Project Monitoring Committee. As part of the monitoring activity, a field inspection was held yesterday, September 16, 2026 in Matnog, Sorsogon.

With full cooperation, PARPO II Adonis H. Dolanas, PARPO I Maria Trinise V. General, OIC-CARPO for LTID Anna Mae A. Ebuenga, and OIC-MARPO Cecile M. Dicen, together with DAR Sorsogon provincial project staff accompanied the RPMT during the field inspection of target Agrarian Reform Beneficiary (ARB) land titles.

Twenty six (26) Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) from Barangays of Banogao, Tugas, Hid-Hid, Balocaue, Bolo, Camcaman, Sinebaran, Caloocan, and Pawa in Matnog, Sorsogon including DARPO Personnel were interviewed by the monitoring team to ensure the quality and efficiency of the SPLIT Project in attaining its overall goal of improving land tenure security and stabilizing the property rights of farmer beneficiaries.

TINGNAN | Nakiisa ang Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) sa idinaos na "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat" sa lalawigan ng Sorsogon ngayong araw, ika-14 ng Setyembre 2026 sa Sorsogon Provincial Gymnasium, sa lungsod ng Sorsogon.
Layunin ng programa na mailapit ang serbisyo ng iba't ibang ahensya ng gobyerno sa mamamayang Sorsoganon katulad ng aspetong medikal, kabuhayan, agrikultural, at legal na tulong.
Namahagi ang DAR Sorsogon na pinangunahan ni OIC-PARPO II Adonis H. Dolanas, ng ilang mga suportang serbisyo kagaya ng dalawang Farm-to-Market roads sa Gubat, partikular na sa mga Barangay ng Nazareno at Rizal; pati na rin sa Barangay Nazareno at Rizal.
Kaugnay pa rito, nai-turnover rin ng DAR Sorsogon ang Swine Breeding Project sa ilang Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) kagaya ng ESJARCO sa bayan ng Casiguran, at BULUARCO at SIBUFARCO sa bayan ng Bulusan.
Samantala, isinama rin sa nasabing caravan ang libreng serbisyong legal patungkol sa usaping agraryo sa probinsya.
Tampok din ang iba't-ibang produkto ng mga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization (ARBO) hanggang hapon sa Agraryo Merkado — hatid ang sariwang mga gulay at pagkain, pati na ang mga dekalidad na produkto.

IN PHOTOS | The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Sorsogon officially starts the 2025-B survey activities and ALI Case Target Alignment under SPLIT Project.

Regional Project Manager Rodrigo O. Realubit, CESO VI, and Provincial Project Manager Adonis H. Dolanas led the inception meeting with survey contractors to ensure the streamlined operations and target alignment.

DARRO V officials, provincial project staff, and contractor engineers joined the session to jumpstart the parcelization process aimed at providing individual land titles to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) across Sorsogon.
