FORMAL PUBLIC CLARIFICATION STATEMENT
This statement is issued for the purpose of placing on record a clear, factual, and objective clarification regarding recent allegations and insinuations circulating on social media involving the use of the name โSandiganโ by two distinct regions within The Fraternal Order of Eagles โ Philippine Eagles (TFOEโPEI).
1. On the Use of the Name โSandiganโ
The term โSandiganโ is a common Filipino word and, to the best of my knowledge, is not subject to trademark registration, exclusive ownership, or proprietary right within TFOEโPEI. Consequently, its use by more than one region does not, in itself, constitute any legal, organizational, or ethical infringement.
2. On the Distinction Between the Two Regions
It is a matter of record that NCR XVI Sandigan and NCR Sandigan are:
๐ affiliated with different factions,
๐ governed by different sets of officers,
๐ operating under different logos and internal leadership structures.
Any assertion that these two regions are organizationally identical, coordinated, or acting as a single unit is factually inaccurate.
3. On Allegations of Instigation or Destabilization
I categorically and unequivocally deny allegations that I initiated, facilitated, encouraged, or participated in the establishment of NCR Sandigan, whether directly or indirectly.
For the avoidance of doubt:
๐ I do not personally know the Governor of NCR Sandigan;
๐ I have never met, communicated, coordinated, nor conspired with said Governor or any of its officers;
๐ No act, written or verbal, can be reasonably attributed to me that would constitute โdestabilizationโ of any region or faction.
Allegations to the contrary are unsupported by evidence and amount to mere speculation.
4. On Membership Movements
Transfers or movements of members between regions or factions, when done in accordance with existing rules, cannot be selectively construed as destabilization. Such interpretation becomes arbitrary, especially when similar movements have occurred toward NCR XVI, which is now the source of the accusation.
5. On Jurisdiction and Non-Interference
No faction, region, or officer possesses authority or discretion to interfere in the internal affairs of another faction. Respect for jurisdictional boundaries is fundamental to organizational order and due process.
6. On Conduct and Professionalism
I take exception to the use of inflammatory language, ad hominem attacks, and below-the-belt remarks directed at my person and office. Such conduct is unprofessional and undermines the values of brotherhood, discipline, and responsible leadership.
This clarification is issued without prejudice to any legal, administrative, or organizational remedies that may be available should defamatory or malicious accusations persist.
This statement is not intended to provoke conflict but to correct the record and uphold fairness, truth, and accountability.
