Development of SorSU Strategic Plan 2027 - 2031

In pursuit towards holistic approach for our learners and students for quality education, accessible education, and excellent frameworks of competence of Sorsogon State University. The Office is being selected as one of the stakeholders to be part of Sorsogon State University Strategic Planning Consultation and Validation Workshop with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs held last August 13, 2026 at 4th floor, College of Business and Management Hall - 1, Sorsogon City Campus.

Several proposals of interventions and mitigations addressing safety and security, and areas of intensifying collaboration in multi stakeholders for community development and shared governance was properly addressed by this office. This platform serve as an opportunity towards sustainable education ensuring that the general welfare is not only intended for the learners but also to other internal and external benefactors of the institution.

Isang ordinansa para sa mga Kabataang Sorsoganon ang kasalukuyang binubuo ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan mula sa Kometiba ng Children at Kometiba ng Youth, na magtataguyod ng isang programa na magpapaigting ng partisipasyon ng mga bata at kabataang edad 15-17 sa usapin ng tapat at lokal na pamamahala. Isinagawa ito noong August 12,2026 kasama ang ating Provincial Junior Officials at iba’t ibang kawani ng lokal ng gobyerno sa probinsya ng Sorsogon para mapagtibay ang nilalaman ng programa.

📢 CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS | YOUTH MOBILIZATION FOR DISASTER RESPONSE

In the face of adversity, our shared aspirations for a resilient and inclusive Philippines call us to come together and take action.

In view of the postponement of the commemoration of the 2026 International Youth Day, National Youth Day, and Linggo ng Kabataan and National Youth Commission Anniversary activities scheduled for August 12, 2026, the National Youth Commission (NYC) is calling on young people to channel their energy, compassion, and spirit of volunteerism toward relief operations for communities affected by the recent calamities.

Through the National Youth Volunteer Program (NYVP) and the Youth Organizations’ Registration Program (YORP), the NYC, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), will mobilize youth volunteers to support relief and community response operations.
