An orientation for incoming Grade 11 students on the 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 (𝐒𝐇𝐒) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 will be conducted on May 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM onwards. The activity aims to guide students in understanding the SHS structure, learning tracks, and expectations as they prepare for the next stage of their academic journey.

Demonstrating commitment to accountability, excellence, and transformative leadership, the School Heads and Head Teachers of Sta. Magdalena District participated in the OPCRF Assessment and Evaluation of Portfolio for SY 2025–2026 held at Garcia Farm.

The activity served as an avenue for school leaders to present accomplishments, best practices, and innovations aligned with the goals of the Department of Education. It also highlighted the dedication of school heads in ensuring quality instruction, effective school management, and learner-centered governance.

Guiding the evaluation process were esteemed validators Asst. Schools Division Superintendent, Cheryll V. Bermudo; PSDS/Division Coordinator, Annie Baylon, and OIC-PSDS, Grace Imelda G. Huab, whose valuable insights and professional guidance inspired participants toward continuous improvement and stronger educational leadership.

More than a performance assessment, the activity became a celebration of dedication, collaboration, and the shared mission of delivering quality, equitable, and responsive education to every learner.

Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 141, s. 2026 re: “Participation of SDO Sorsogon in the 2026 DepEd Bicol Run,” the personnel of Talaonga National High School, together with the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Sta. Magdalena District, actively participated in this morning’s run held on May 7, 2026, at 5:30 A.M., from Fish Wharf to Bilaoyon Elementary School.

The activity was also graced by Ms. Jan Pauline P. del Rosario, Administrative Officer IV, who served as the Division Office monitor.
