Throughout 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐃𝐓𝐈 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐧, through its 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, conducted 𝟏𝟔 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 and business development activities that equipped 𝟐𝟑𝟗 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 across the province with practical knowledge and skills to strengthen their enterprises.

The activities covered essential areas of business development, including digital marketing, costing and pricing, financial wellness, bookkeeping, food safety, packaging and labeling, intellectual property, product development, market access, online market presence, and regulatory compliance. Participants also gained hands-on skills in bamboo craft making, opening further opportunities for product innovation and livelihood development.

Through these initiatives, local MSMEs were able to improve their business practices, explore new markets, enhance their products, and make more informed decisions toward sustainable growth.

𝐃𝐓𝐈 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐧 remains committed to bringing relevant and accessible business development services closer to entrepreneurs, helping them become more capable, competitive, and future-ready.

Twenty-five micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) explored new possibilities in product development and business growth during the “SSF FabLab Evolution: Innovate. Create. Transform.” held on August 20, 2026, at the Pili FabLab, Sorsogon State University, Sorsogon City.

Conducted by DTI Sorsogon in partnership with Sorsogon State University–Pili FabLab and Norde International Distributors, Inc., the activity highlighted how shared facilities, modern fabrication technologies, and innovation can help MSMEs enhance their products, improve operations, and discover new market opportunities.
