Barangay Zone III of Digos City took its existence by virtue of Municipal Resolution 163, Ordinance No. 16 and PD 86-A dated May 22, 1970. It has a total land area of 181.83 hectares bounded by Barangay Zone 11 in the North and Barangay San Jose in the South. On the east are Barangay Aplaya and Barangay Dawis with Barangay Tiguman and Barangay San Miguel on the west.
