The other day, DXMY-RMN Cotabato has posted their report on the incident where one (1) isolated patient considered as LSI, commited su***de in a quarantine facility of the LGU. What alarmed me the most is the phrases or words thrown at the comment section of the radio station’s post. 🔍💢
Grabe ka-hype nyo mga beshy. How come the incident turned out to be blamed at the LGU and the Mayor? Prior to that, ginagawa ng LGU lahat ng kanilang makakaya to keep its people safe and secure from the pandemic that cost millions of lives throughout the continents. Yes! May mga galit sa protocols or policies implemented by the locality, hindi natin ma-dedeny iyan . Dinig na dinig nating lahat yang mga rumors and oppositions nyo to the implementing rules during this pandemic lalong lalo na when it comes to travelling in and out of the municipality. Nakakalungkot lang na may iilan lamang na nakaka intindi sa sitwasyon ni South Upi.

A few on the list of the burden carried alone by the LGU and the line agencies concerned within this year. May mga galit sa patakaran dahil hindi nila nauunawaan ang kaliwa’t kanang hirap at problema. Obedience? Yan na lng ang nag iisang bagay na hinihiling sa atin ng lokal na pamahalaan. In other places, pandemya lang ang problema nila, nagtutulong tulungan ang mamamayan and their own government, still, it was too hard for them! Sa South Upi, kaliwa’t kanang problema, kaliwa’t kanang batikos pa. HINDI LAHAT, pero may iilan na nakakapanghinayang na. Imbes na ma-inspire natin sila in pursuing their mission of saving South Upi, nakakapag hina na ng loob. Nakakalungkot! Iniingatan nila tayo na malayo sa pandemya, base sa mga patakarang ipinapatupad nila. Ang masaklap, yung mga madaldal, hindi naman mula dito sa atin. Hindi alam ang sitwasyon na meron tayo. Some would say, responsibilidad nila iyan, tumakbo nung halalan eh. Utang na loob, maging mabuti naman tayong mamamayan dahil alam naman natin ang hirap at problema ng South Upi ngayon. Kooperasyon lang po ang hinihingi sa atin.
Rapid test? COULD BE unreliable. If you’re positive in this test, it doesn’t mean na you are already a positive COVID-19 patient. You may, and also, you may not be. Your unhealthy lifestyle may have altered the result leading the test to turn out positive. On the opposite result, which is negative, it will not say that you do not possess COVID. As studies shows, it takes up to 14days and above until the virus fully develops. After 14days, it will only confirm if you are clearly negative. That is why, front liners have to be precise on the rule that if you’re from a place where COVID-19 exist, you have to finish a 14-days quarantine. That is to keep the citizens away from huge consequences of spreading the deadly virus. Yung isa pa nga lng na positive dito, halos ma-stress lahat ng tao. Bakit? Because takot tayo, that it will lead to the deaths of neighbor, friend, family, and etc. That it will kill many like that of Luzon’s cases. Yung gastos, never mind! But if may mamamatay, how hard would that be? A simple reminder. Eh kung abutin ng libo ang magiging affected? Because we allowed ONE to skip the process in isolation.
The death of that young boy was caused by his personal problems. How come the government seemed to be blamed? Did the LGU gave him that rope? No. It was his own decision. Every one on the isolation facility has its own problems, some may be severe than his. It was his own will that took his own life. Nakakapanghinayang na sa napaka mura ng edad, kinitil niya ang sarili niyang buhay. The truth is, we handle problems differently than those of others. It is self-management and control.
I hope you get the point here. I hope it’s clear to those who are reading this, the exact point of what I am trying to signify. Please do not make our Mayor’s burden heavier than the heaviest. He wishes everyone’s safety. Pray for him instead. Pray for the people of your co-South Upians. Pray for that young boy’s soul. Pray for those who struggles day and night for our beloved municipality’s safety and security. If there is something that bothers you, please go to the concerned offices and justify your plea. Rumors will not answer our questions. Maraming salamat dahil alam kong higit na nakararami ang nakakaunawa ng ating punto, KATULAD MO😇😇
