Floodwaters are currently affecting some sections of the road; however, the highway remains PASSABLE TO LIGHT VEHICLES.

⚠️ Motorists are advised to reduce speed, exercise extra caution, and avoid attempting to cross if the water level continues to increase.

As directed by Mayor Jon Khonghun, in coordination with Punong Barangay Oliver Ian Reyes, clearing and desilting operations were conducted along the river and drainage canal.

A fallen mango tree that was blocking the canal was also cut and removed to help ensure the continuous flow of water and prevent clogging, overflow, and possible flooding in the area.

These preventive measures are part of our continuous efforts to keep our waterways clear and help protect the community, especially during heavy rains. 🌧️💧

MANGAN-VACA NATIONAL ROAD UPDATE
As of 8:45 AM, September 4, 2026

Floodwater is present along the road, but it is still passable to light vehicles. However, motorists are advised to drive slowly and with extra caution due to the current road condition.

Please stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel if possible.
