๐ข PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT | LGU SUBIC
Please be informed that, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129 issued by the Office of the President on August 18, 2026, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Subic shall implement the appropriate alternative work arrangements on August 19, 2026 in view of the anticipated heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
However, offices and personnel involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness/response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and provide the necessary services to the public.
For everyoneโs safety, we encourage the public to remain alert, take necessary precautions, and monitor official announcements from the LGU Subic.

Government offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) and 17 provinces have been directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on August 19, 2026 as the government prepares for continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital government services will continue operating and providing necessary services.
Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers who are placed under alternative work arrangements will be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to existing rules and regulations.
Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, schools in the identified areas are likewise directed to implement alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures at all levels in both public and private schools.
For areas not covered by the circular, local chief executives may order the localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.
The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector remains at the discretion of management.
