Scholarship Opportunity: Misamis Oriental IKNB Unity Grantees

​The Province of Misamis Oriental has officially opened applications for the Iskolar ‘Ko Ng Bayan (IKNB) Unity Grantees Merit Scholarship. This initiative is part of the "Bagong Pilipinas" and "Unity: The Road to Progress" campaign aimed at supporting deserving students in the region.

CALLING ALL YOUTH! | Virtual Assistance Training Scholarship 💻✨

Good news, Sugbongcogon! 🎉

The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental, under the leadership of Governor Juliette T. Uy, together with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and SPARK (Strengthening the Philippine Workforce through Adaptive and Responsive Digital Knowledge), is opening doors for our youth to be part of the Virtual Assistance Training Scholarship!

Through this program, you’ll be trained to become a Virtual Assistant, usa ka highly in-demand nga digital career karon! 🙌

This is your chance to learn new skills, earn online, and build your future without leaving Sugbongcogon! 💪

📋 HOW THE SELECTION WORKS:
All endorsed applicants will first undergo an online assessment to measure their technical skills and readiness.
From there, the top 25 participants across the province will be chosen as official scholars and will get the opportunity to undergo the full Virtual Assistance Training Program! 🎯

📅 TRAINING SCHEDULE:
🟢 Day 0 – Launching
🟢 Day 1–5 – Face-to-Face Training (Unity Hall, Provincial Capitol, CDO)
🟢 Day 6–20 – Online Training (from home)
🟢 Day 21 – Graduation 🎓

The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Sugbongcogon proudly congratulates our outstanding youth councils for their remarkable achievements in the Provincial SK Performance Assessment conducted last November 2024.

Barangay Alicomohan (Top 2) and Barangay Poblacion (Top 10) have earned their well-deserved spots among the Top 20 Best Performing SK Councils in Misamis Oriental! This recognition reflects their consistent dedication in promoting meaningful youth participation, implementing impactful programs, and upholding the true spirit of the Sangguniang Kabataan.

We also extend our warmest congratulations to Barangay Kaulayanan and Barangay Kidampas for being recognized as Special Awardees. This is the testament to their creativity, commitment, and passion in serving their fellow youth despite challenges along the way.
