Malipayon nga iginpapahibaro han Municipal Government of Sulat nga malinampuson nga nakompleto an 2nd Wave of Rice Distribution ha ngatanan nga barangay han aton bungto.

Dugang hini, nakatagamtam liwat an mga pamilya hin multivitamins, samtang an aton mga kabataan nga 0โ€“5 anyos gintagan hin nutritional supplement basi makabulig ha pagpadayon han ira maupay nga nutrisyon ngan panlawas.

Ini nga mga programa ginpapatuman pinaagi han LGSF Growth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF FY 2025) han Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), ilarom han administrasyon ni President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

ECCD ASSESSMENT: Monitoring Children's Early Development ๐Ÿ’™

The Child Development Centers of the Municipality of Sulat, through its dedicated Child Development Teachers/Workers, conducted the 1st Assessment using the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Checklist among children enrolled in the centers.

The assessment is conducted to monitor and document the children's developmental progress across essential developmental domains and to identify areas that may require appropriate intervention, support, or further monitoring.

This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of the Local Government Unit of Sulat through the Abtik leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Javier E. Zacate, to strengthen early childhood programs and ensure that every child receives responsive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate care and learning opportunities.

Through regular assessment and monitoring, the LGU, together with its Child Development Teachers/Workers, continues to uphold its responsibility to promote the holistic development, well-being, and protection of young children in the municipality.

Celebrating Our August Birthday Celebrants! ๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿ’

The Municipal Government of Sulat warmly celebrated our beloved senior citizens born in August through the Monthly Seniorโ€™s Day Celebration, held today, August 28, 2026, at the Sulat Skills & Livelihood Training Center.

As part of the LGU-led Social Pension Program, each birthday celebrant received โ‚ฑ500.00 cash assistance, along with a food pack, grooming services, and medicines for common illnessesโ€”a simple yet meaningful way of showing our love, appreciation, and commitment to the welfare of our senior citizens.

This program has been institutionalized through the unwavering support of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Javier E. Zacate, Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Dionesio Evardone III, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members - reflecting the LGUโ€™s continuing commitment to recognizing, supporting, and promoting the welfare of our senior citizens.

SULAT, EASTERN SAMAR โ€” The Local Government Unit of Sulat, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Javier E. Zacate, continues to deliver vital assistance to Sulatnon families through the second wave of Rice for Every Home, the provision of multivitamins to all families, and nutritional supplements for children aged 0โ€“5 years old, which began on August 26, 2026.

Implemented through the LGSFโ€“Growth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF FY 2025) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., these initiatives aim to strengthen food security, support household nutrition, and address the nutritional needs of young children.
The rice distribution has reached 2,653 families in nine barangays during the first two days.

Distribution to the remaining barangays will continue next week, with the overall distribution targeted for completion by the first week of September 2026.

Ang mga gawaing ito ay naglalayong palakasin ang partisipasyon ng PWDs, maitaguyod ang kanilang mga karapatan at kapakanan, at mabigyan sila ng mas malaking boses sa mga programa at serbisyong nakalaan para sa kanila.

Under Article 16 of the Family Code (Executive Order No. 209), marriage counseling is required for certain applicants aged 18โ€“25, particularly those within the age range where parental consent or parental advice is required. The counseling must be conducted by an ACCREDITED Pre-Marriage Counselor.

More than a requirement, Pre-Marriage Counseling provides couples with an opportunity to reflect on their readiness for marriage, responsibilities, communication, managing differences, and building a healthy and lasting family relationship.
