They stood in the line of duty with courage, honor, and unwavering dedication. Though
their lives were cut short, their sacrifice and service will never be forgotten. Today, we
honor our fallen heroes who gave their lives in service to the Filipino people and our
beloved country.

Our deepest condolences go to the families of our fallen soldiers. We share in your grief
and sorrow during this difficult time. Your loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice in the
service of the country and in the fulfillment of their duty. Their courage, dedication, and
selfless service will always be remembered and honored.

May you find strength and comfort in this time of sorrow. May God grant eternal rest to
our beloved heroes and give their families the strength to overcome this painful loss. You

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐈𝐈 The 7th Infantry (TAPAT) Battalion, 6th Infantry (KAMPILAN) Division, Philippine Army, effectively secured the safe, peaceful, and orderly conduct of the First Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections (BPE) 2026 within Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, on September 14, 2026. Through sustained security operations, heightened troop presence, vigilant monitoring, and seamless coordination with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Electoral Boards (EBs), Local Chief Executives (LCEs), Philippine National Police (PNP), barangay officials, and other stakeholders, the Battalion helped preserve the integrity of the electoral process and ensure a secure environment where voters could freely and confidently exercise their right to suffrage.

Throughout the election period, the 7IB maintained a proactive and robust security posture to deter potential threats and swiftly address emerging security concerns. Sustained area security operations, strategic deployment of personnel, intensified monitoring, and rapid response capabilities contributed to the protection of polling centers, election personnel, voters, and surrounding communities. These efforts enabled the electorate to cast their votes without fear, intimidation, coercion, or undue disruption, reinforcing public confidence in the democratic process.

The successful conduct of the BPE 2026 underscored the effectiveness of the whole-of-government and whole-of-community approach in preserving peace and safeguarding the democratic exercise. The concerted efforts of the Philippine Army, PNP, COMELEC, EBs, LCEs, barangay officials, community leaders, and other partner stakeholders demonstrated that unity, vigilance, and strong inter-agency collaboration remain indispensable in ensuring a credible, peaceful, and meaningful electoral process. LTC RITO A PETINGLAY JR, Commanding Officer of 7IB, commended the TAPAT Fighters and all participating stakeholders for their dedication, professionalism, vigilance, and unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security throughout the electoral period.

The 7IB remains resolute in sustaining its security efforts and reinforcing its partnerships with government agencies, law enforcement units, local government officials, barangay authorities, and communities to preserve peace, stability, and public safety within Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte. Through decisive action, relentless vigilance, and collective commitment, the TAPAT Battalion continues to stand firmly with the people protecting the peace, securing communities, and safeguarding the democratic rights and freedom of every voter.

BRGY PIGCALAGAN, SULTAN KUDARAT, MAGUINDANAO DEL NORTE — The 7th Infantry (TAPAT) Battalion, 6th Infantry (KAMPILAN) Division, Philippine Army together with 61st Division Reconnaissance Company; 91st Brigade Reconnaissance Company; 62nd Mechanized Company of 6th Mechanized Infantry (SALAKNIB) Battalion; 3rd Cavalry Company (SEPARATE), Armor Division, Philippine Army and Bravo (DESTROYER) Company of 6th Field Artillery (DEADLY ACCURATE) Battalion has affirmed its readiness and preparedness to support the safe, peaceful, and orderly conduct of the upcoming 1st BARMM Parliamentary Elections 2026 in Sultan Kudarat Municipality.

With the election scheduled on September 14, 2026, the joint security forces have intensified their coordination, security preparations, and operational readiness to ensure that personnel and resources are positioned to respond appropriately to security concerns that may arise during the electoral period.

The 7th Infantry Battalion, as the host unit in its area of responsibility, continues to strengthen coordination with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Philippine National Police, Local Government Units and other concerned stakeholders. Meanwhile, other OPCON units stand ready to augment security operations and provide additional capabilities in support to the overall election security efforts.

The units remain committed to maintaining a professional, impartial, and people-centered security posture, ensuring that voters can exercise their right to vote without fear, intimidation, or unnecessary disruption.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 || The 7th Infantry (TAPAT) Battalion, 6th Infantry (KAMPILAN) Division, Philippine Army, joined the nationwide observance of the 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 (𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐌𝐨) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, themed “𝐾𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑛 𝑠𝑎 𝐾𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑛, 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎-𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎 𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐴𝑙𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑎𝑛,” through a simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony held at Battalion Headquarters in Barangay Pigcalagan, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte on September 7, 2026.

The observance highlighted the reading of the Message of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, reaffirming the importance of strengthening the Filipino people's awareness, appreciation, and collective responsibility in protecting the country's maritime domain and national patrimony.

Adding significance to the activity was the 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥, recognizing their dedication, competence, and commitment to greater responsibilities in the service. Tokens were likewise presented to the Battalion's 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, fostering camaraderie and recognizing the importance of every member of the TAPAT Battalion family.

The observance underscores the Philippines' identity as a maritime and archipelagic nation and highlights the vital role of its seas and waterways in the country's history, security, economy, and future. It also emphasizes the shared responsibility of every Filipino to understand, protect, and responsibly steward the nation's maritime domain.

Through continued education, awareness, and unity, TAPAT Battalion stands with the Filipino people in advancing maritime consciousness and reaffirming its collective commitment to protect the nation's sovereignty, territorial integrity, maritime rights, and national patrimony for present and future generations.
