Sangguniang Bayan of Hadji Panglima Tahil holds Public Hearing on key environmental and community issues! 🧑🏻‍⚖️📑👍🏻

The public consultation focused on proposed ordinances on anti-illegal fishing, anti-illegal gambling, anti-illegal cutting of mangroves, and anti-illegal poaching. Presided by Vice Mayor Nadzgar Kinnong, the activity saw active participation from stakeholders, including the Chief of Police of HPTMPS, MAFAR Municipal Officer, Punong Barangays, Barangay Officials, BPATs, and other key stakeholders.

Ordinance sponsors presented and deliberated their proposals, highlighting the importance of protecting Hadji Panglima Tahil's natural resources and promoting community safety. The attendees shared valuable inputs and perspectives, underscoring the need for collaborative efforts in addressing these issues.

The activity was made possible through the support of Mayor Moh. Mustafa S. Burahan, affirming the LGU's wholistic approach to environmental protection and community development--- ensuring public participation and feedback as they work towards enacting these crucial legislations. 💬

Magsama-sama magpalanggit awal Sampal iban Rubella!

The Local Government Unit of Hadji Panglima Tahil, under the leadership of Mayor Em Burahan, fully supports the Measles Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) spearheaded by the Department of Health (DOH) and Rural Health Unit (RHU) Hadji Panglima Tahil. In line with this, the LGU is providing the necessary logistical and financial support to RHU to ensure the success of the activity. 💉

During the kick-off ceremony, Vice Mayor Nadzgar Kinnong reiterated the LGU's unwavering commitment to protecting the health of the community, particularly the children, and emphasized the importance of vaccination in preventing measles and rubella. 🤝

Governor Toto Tan the new Chairman of the Regional Development Council (RDC) IX, Department of Economy, Planning, and Development, Hon. Moh. Mustafa S. Burahan, LMP Sulu President, and Jolo Municipal Mayor Hon. Edsir Tan, attended the orientation for the Regional Development Council IX Chairperson last November 20, 2024.

Governor Tan, who was recently appointed as the new Chairman of RDC IX, expressed his appreciation for the RDC IX team's presence in Sulu. The orientation covered the council's mandate, functions, and proceedings, as well as the roles and responsibilities of its officials and members.

The meeting aimed to discuss strategies for regional development in the Zamboanga Peninsula, with a focus on economic growth and poverty reduction. 👍🏻💯

The LGU of Hadji Panglima Tahil recently celebrated Children's Month with a fun-filled event, thru the initiative of Mayor Moh. Mustafa S Burahan. The celebration featured a variety of activities, including exciting parlor games, a kids' food bazaar, and entertaining performances, as well as a beloved mascot to delight the children. 🧒🏻🎉🎈🐻✨👧🏻

In his message, Mayor Burahan reaffirmed the Local Government Unit's (LGU) unwavering commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of children in the community, focusing on key areas such as health, education, and sociocultural growth. He highlighted the municipality's recent efforts to establish Child Development Centers (CDCs) in three barangays, made possible through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM). This initiative aims to provide a nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop, with a focus on early childhood education and holistic development.

"The future of a nation is in the hands of its children," Mayor Burahan emphasized, underscoring the importance of investing in the next generation's health, education, and overall well-being. The LGU's commitment to children's welfare is evident in its efforts to provide support and resources for the children and youth, empowering them to reach their full potential and become responsible and productive members of society.

LGU Hadji Panglima Tahil receives Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) from PCSO 🚑🚨

Mayor Em Burahan personally received a brand new Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) from PCSO General Manager, Melquiades A. Robles, in a ceremony held in Kidapawan City.

This donation will greatly benefit the municipality, especially our constituents who are in need of medical transportation. Thank you, PCSO, for your continued support to our community!

PSA-Sulu conducts CBMS 2024 Data Presentation to LGU-Hadji Panglima Tahil

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Sulu recently conducted a data presentation for the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) 2024 to the LGU of Hadji Panglima Tahil.

Mayor Moh. Mustafa S. Burahan and other stakeholders actively engaged in the presentation, asking insightful questions and seeking clarifications to better understand the data and its implications for our community's development.
