We express our deepest gratitude to the DOH Region X team for visiting the Municipality of Sumilao for the Rapid Coverage Monitoring of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Implementation Activity (MR-SIA). This activity allows us to build on what is working, identify areas for improvement, and further strengthen the delivery of health services—especially in ensuring that our children are reached, protected, and cared for.

Despite the challenges in implementation of MR-SIA, particularly with the emergence of misinformation in social media, We have confidence that vaccination remains safe, effective, and proven to save lives, protecting children from serious and preventable diseases while also keeping families and communities safe.

Through evidence-based guidance and strong collaboration with the Local Government, we continue to move forward with determination, for a healthier and safer future for every Sumilaonon. 💉👶✨
