Seven children with disabilities received their respective wheelchair during a distribution activity held on April 10 at the Municipal Hall lobby.
The initiative was made possible through the support of Children International Philippines, Inc., Free Wheelchair Mission, Dole Philippines, Inc., and Dole โ Stanfilco.
The activity was implemented by the LGU in partnership with Mahintana Foundation, Inc. and Kasilak Development Foundation.
Present during the activity were Ma. Theresa Santillan, DAP Program Coordinator of Mahintana, Nepjun Melsm Jihad Seromines, Area Coordinator of Kasilak, and Reynante Padios of the PCO South Cotabato, DoleโStanfilco Division.
Also in attendance were Municipal Mayor Pedro M. Matinong Jr. and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Rhoda Leaf Catoto.
The undertaking was facilitated by the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) headed by PDAO Officer Lowell Lozaga.
