A meaningful and inspiring day for V.L. Barber Elementary School as we joined the Adopt a Mother Tree & Green Belt Program Launching – Ceremonial Tree Growing!

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all who made this activity a success—especially:

🌿 Hon. Pedro M. Matinong Jr., Municipal Mayor of Surallah, for his inspiring message and strong support for environmental initiatives;
🌿 Engr. Roldan M. Eusoya, MGDH I (MENRO), for the empowering and noteworthy environmental message;

An Engaging Celebration of Nutrition Month with the theme: "SA PPAN: SAMA-SAMA SA NUTRISYONG SAPAT PARA SA LAHAT!
🍉🌽🍌🍍🥬🍆🫑🥦🧄🌰🥗

Our school joyfully commemorated Nutrition Month with a variety of enjoyable, informative, and interactive events that highlighted healthy eating practices and the significance of good nutrition.

The occasion was further enriched by the enthusiastic involvement of students across various grades and their encouraging parents!

Under the effective direction of our committed School Head, Sir Allan S. Domider, and the proactive leadership of our SBFP Coordinator, Ms. Joliah H. Derilon, every activity was executed successfully and infused joy, knowledge, and community spirit into the lives of all participants.

Key moments from the celebration featured:

✨ An engaging and competitive Quiz Bee for all grade levels, challenging students on their understanding of nutrition and health practices.

✨ An imaginative Coloring, Slogan and Poster Making Competition across all grade levels, where students conveyed the importance of nutrition through their artistic expressions.

✨ An engaging Cooking and Table Setting Experience for each grade level, where teachers, students and their parents collaborated to create nutritious and tasty dishes as well as a presentable and magnificent buffet!

✨ This event highlighted skills and understanding while also reinforcing the connection between home and school in encouraging a healthy lifestyle for our students.

Kudos to all the participants and gratitude to everyone who supported this significant occasion.

Collectively, we create a healthier and more vibrant future for our kids and for our community as a whole!

A Pathway to Progress 🛣️✨

Today marks the official turnover of the newly constructed 165-Linear Meter Concreted Barangay Road Project leading to our beloved school — a meaningful development that ensures safer and more convenient access for our learners, teachers, and the entire school community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Municipal Mayor Pedro Cano Matinong Jr. and the LGU officials; Barangay Captain Orlando Amar and the barangay council, especially Kagawad Ruben Nograles, Kagawad Dominic Pagdato, and Kagawad Rey Narte; Sitio Officials lead by Mr. Robert Nograles; our dedicated SPTA Officers and dear parents spearheaded by SPTA Chairman, Shara Joy Briñosa; to Sir Niño Jacobe, the benevolent District Supervisor of Surallah South District; our committed school head, Mr. Allan S. Domider; our hardworking teachers, and our ever-enthusiastic learners.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our ever supportive parents spearheaded by our SPTA Officials, teachers, learners and the Barangay Council for their invaluable assistance in the recent school clean-up activity.

This collective effort was in preparation for the upcoming turnover ceremony of the newly constructed road leading to our school.
