The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Pedro M. Matinong, Jr. early this morning, June 3, to discuss the implementation of the Pag-abot Program in the municipality.
The Pag-abot Program is a DSWD initiative aimed at assisting families, children, and individuals who are living on or wandering the streets by providing appropriate interventions, social services, and support mechanisms to improve their living conditions and promote social reintegration.
DSWD Field Office XII was represented by Social Welfare Officer (SWO) III and Pag-abot & Social Technology Section Head Reean N. Selma, SWO II Chrisha Dominique A. Blas, and SWO II Allean Kyla L. David.
Also present during the meeting were Municipal Administrator Benjamin S. Datingguinoo, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Rhoda Leaf G. Catoto, and SWO III Rizalyn E. Napoles.
