𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃 𝐗𝐈𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Pedro M. Matinong, Jr. early this morning, June 3, to discuss the implementation of the Pag-abot Program in the municipality.

The Pag-abot Program is a DSWD initiative aimed at assisting families, children, and individuals who are living on or wandering the streets by providing appropriate interventions, social services, and support mechanisms to improve their living conditions and promote social reintegration.

DSWD Field Office XII was represented by Social Welfare Officer (SWO) III and Pag-abot & Social Technology Section Head Reean N. Selma, SWO II Chrisha Dominique A. Blas, and SWO II Allean Kyla L. David.

Also present during the meeting were Municipal Administrator Benjamin S. Datingguinoo, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Rhoda Leaf G. Catoto, and SWO III Rizalyn E. Napoles.

𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

A meeting was held today, June 3, 2026, at the ABC Hall with all Barangay Captains from the 17 barangays of Surallah in preparation for the upcoming rice distribution for the people of Surallah.

The meeting was presided over by MDRRM Officer Leonardo B. Ballon, together with Municipal Administrator Benjamin S. Datinguinoo and ABC President Rizalito L. Ello Jr. Discussions focused on the guidelines, logistics, and coordination efforts necessary to ensure the orderly and efficient distribution of rice to the intended beneficiaries.

The activity highlights the commitment of the LGU of Surallah to provide assistance and ensure that the rice distribution is implemented smoothly and effectively for the benefit of the community.

Mayor Pedro M. Matinong Jr. welcomed representatives of the Social Security System (SSS) during a courtesy visit at the Office of the Mayor, Wednesday, June 3.

During the meeting, SSS officials presented their proposal for the establishment of an SSS Service Office in the Municipality of Surallah. The proposed office aims to bring SSS services closer to residents and improve access to the agency’s programs and benefits.

The SSS representatives was led by Mindanao South II Division Acting Head Monique S. Alcantara along with SSS Koronadal Branch Head Rita Fe S. Limbaga, Account Management Section (AMS) CEO II Brendo M. Belmonte, and AMS Senior Analyst Roda D. Piad.
