𝐒𝐃𝐍 𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 ₱𝟏𝟓𝐊 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧

Surigao del Norte athletes competing in the Palarong Pambansa 2026 were given a powerful boost as each athlete and their coaches received ₱15,000 cash allowance from the provincial government last May 23, 2026.

The support was spearheaded by Gov. Robert Lyndon Barbers, the Provincial Legislative Team, Vice Governor Geed Gokiangkee, and the 11 Municipal Mayors and Vice Mayors of SDN District 2, with vital contributions from the private sector.

The allowance serves as both financial aid and a symbolic reminder that the athletes carry the hopes and pride of the Surigaonon people. Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Karen L. Galanida expressed gratitude in a Facebook post, emphasizing that the entire province believes in its young champions.

With this united backing, Surigao del Norte athletes march into the national games in Agusan del Sur inspired to perform with resilience, honor, and determination.

Through the National Youth Commission and the Department of Children and Youth of Thailand, two (2) Filipino youth delegates will be selected to participate in this meaningful ASEAN youth forum focused on road safety awareness, leadership, and regional collaboration.

📢 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS | 8TH ASEAN YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), through the National Youth Commission (NYC), is now accepting applications for three (3) youth nominees to the 8th ASEAN Youth Fellowship (AYF) Program to be held from November 13–20, 2026 in Singapore and the Philippines through face-to-face activities, co-hosted by the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) and the Singapore National Youth Council.

The ASEAN Youth Fellowship aims to engage youth leaders across ASEAN through an immersive learning experience, build a strong regional network among youth leaders from diverse sectors and expose ASEAN youth leaders to opportunities for collaboration and development within the region.
