The said activity aims to ensure and prepare safe and child-friendly school where students can learn in a healthy and conductive environment.

The initiative was made successful with the cooperation of CGSS General Luna Acting Sub-Station Commander CG SN1 Bemar E Llovit together with General Luna MPS, General Luna RHU, General Luna MENRU, General Luna PULIS, General Luna MDRRMO and other Government agencies of General Luna, Surigao del Norte.

LOOK: On August 10, 2023 the Coast Guard Sub-Station General luna personnel led by CG SN1 Bemar E Llovit Acting Sub-Station Commander, CGSS, GL under the supervision of CG LTJG SHERMIN CLAIRE M TUAZON, Station Commander, CGS Siargao conducted of Basic Water Safety Seminar to all Boat Operators and Crew to Enhance Life-saving Skills that can make a significant difference in emergency situations.

The Basic Water Safety Seminar is a fundamental component of Emergency medical care, designed to provide immediate and effective aid to individuals facing life-threatening situations. Whether it's a medical emergency on land or a disaster call at sea, having a skilled team of responders can be the key to saving lives in line with this.
In the collaboration of local goverment unit,Municipality of General Luna Spearheded by Hon.Mayor Sol F Matugas and CGSS General Luna together with CGS Siargao,RHU, MDRRMO,Tourism.This initiative to prioritize Basic Water Safety Seminar demonstrates their unwavering dedication to Enhancing the safety and well-being of the communities they serve particularly the boat operators and crew.
