From a modest โฑ10,000 starting capital, Erlan Food Products has grown into a flourishing enterprise now valued at approximately โฑ6 million in assets. Founded on May 20, 2022, in Surigao City, the business began as a small home-based venture in Brgy. Mabua, Surigao City.
What started in Ms. Deloyโs kitchen has since evolved into a promising MSME known for its flagship product, Honey Mansi Juice โ a refreshing blend of pure calamansi extract and natural honey, widely appreciated for its wellness benefits.
From an initial team of six employees, the enterprise has expanded to 34 workers โ 20 women and 14 men โ providing livelihood opportunities and empowering individuals, including those from marginalized sectors.
Beyond job creation, Erlan Food Products actively supports community outreach activities and local initiatives, proving that successful businesses can also serve as instruments of positive social change.
Like many entrepreneurs, Ms. Deloy faced challenges in product development, sourcing quality ingredients, and building a strong workforce. Through determination and a commitment to continuous learning, she sought guidance and institutional support.
With the assistance of the Department of Trade and Industry, she completed the Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) Program, which helped enhance her entrepreneurial skills and strengthen the operational foundation of her enterprise.
