To celebrate the joy and power of reading, Hacienda High School proudly held its Culminating Activity for National Reading Month, showcasing the talent, creativity, and enthusiasm of our learners.

The event featured a vibrant Book Parade, where students brought their favorite literary characters to life. Our learners also impressed the audience with their heartfelt Speech Choir, captivating Readers Theater presentations, and a beautiful song number that highlighted the theme song from movies that captivated our hearts.

We were honored to have Ma'am Else Ann Bolo, Reading Teacher from Hacienda Elementary School, as our Guest Speaker. Her message reminded everyone of the lifelong gift that reading brings and the role it plays in building brighter futures.

A warm thank you to all parents, stakeholders, and participants for your unwavering support and cooperation. Your presence and involvement made the celebration meaningful and memorable.

Together, we continue to nurture a community of readers.

A VAW-free community starts with us.

In line with the celebration of Filipino Values Month and the nationwide campaign for a VAW-Free Community, our School Gender and Development (GAD) Team successfully conducted a Forum on Positive Discipline and Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) on December 2, 2025.

The morning session gathered our female students, empowering them with knowledge on their rights, personal safety, and the importance of fostering a culture of respect.
In the afternoon, parents participated in a meaningful discussion, strengthening the partnership between home and school in building a safe, supportive, and value-driven community.

We are honored to have School Head Julio T. Barbacena and School Guidance Designate Jessica G. Bolda as our speakers, who shared valuable insights and practical strategies to promote positive discipline and safeguard the welfare of women and children.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Barangay Council and SPTA Officers for their unwavering support and active participation in this advocacy. Together, we move closer to a community that is informed, empowered, and free from violence.
