The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 8 throws back to a fruitful 2024 with the "Tambayayong", the DILG 8 2024 Annual Report. The report captures the success stories of your Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahang kawani in fostering good governance and empowering Eastern Visayas communities amidst the backdrop of climate challenges.

Tambayayong—meaning to "collaborate, cooperate, get together, join forces"—reflects the collaborative spirit that defined the DILG 8's approach in 2024, recognizing that coordinated action among national agencies, local governments, civil society, and communities is key to strengthening resilience, accountability, and inclusive service delivery in the region.

🚨 LOOK HERE! DILG LAUNCHES UNIFIED 911 SYSTEM 🚨

Baby steps to development! 🙌 The Unified 911 System launched by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is a milestone in strengthening public safety and emergency response across the country.

The program may not be perfect and still needs improvement — but that’s the point: initiatives like these are not developed overnight. They involve many moving parts, continuous upgrades, and collective effort.

What matters most is that we now have a unified lifeline for emergencies, bringing us closer to safer, faster, and more reliable public service. 🚑🚒👮

Sa ilalim ng mas pinaganda at sentralisadong Unified 911 Emergency Hotline, handa ang PNP, BFP, at BJMP na maghatid ng agarang tulong mula sa sunog at seguridad hanggang sa kalusugan at iba pang emergency.
