Tabontabon, Leyte | September 02,2026 — Personnel of the Tabontabon Fire Station, under the supervision of SFO4 Alex C Cadano, OIC–Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted the routine cleaning and inspection of the station's fire truck, firefighting equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as part of its regular maintenance and operational readiness program.

The activity was undertaken to ensure that all firefighting apparatus, tools, and protective gear remain in excellent working condition and are fully prepared for immediate deployment during fire incidents and other emergencies. Regular cleaning, thorough inspection, and preventive maintenance help preserve equipment reliability, extend service life, and enhance the safety and efficiency of firefighters in the performance of their duties.

Tabontabon, Leyte | September 01, 2026 – Under the leadership of SFO4 Alex C Cadano, OIC–Municipal Fire Marshal, personnel of the Tabontabon Fire Station conducted their regular station meeting.
The meeting focused on the discussion of current events and updates within the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), including the reading and dissemination of memoranda, directives, guidance, and other communications from Higher Headquarters. Troop Information and Education was also conducted to reinforce discipline, professionalism, and organizational awareness among personnel.

The activity aimed to strengthen coordination, promote clear communication, and ensure the effective implementation of operational plans, administrative directives, and organizational policies. It also served as a venue to address important concerns, share updates, and reinforce the commitment of all personnel to delivering efficient, responsive, and people-centered fire safety and emergency services to the community.

Tabontabon, Leyte | 01 September 2026 — Personnel of the Tabontabon Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO4 Alex C Cadano, OIC–Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted a Firefighting Operation Refresher Skills activity focusing on the proper Donning and Doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hose Coupling Operations, and Basic Firefighting Skills.

The refresher training aimed to reinforce the knowledge, proficiency, and operational readiness of all personnel, ensuring they remain capable of responding swiftly, safely, and effectively to fire incidents and other emergency situations. Through continuous training and practical exercises, firefighters enhance their competence, improve teamwork, and maintain the high standards of service expected in protecting lives, properties, and the environment.

After attending the Mass, the personnel proceeded with area polishing and general cleaning within the station and its Area of Responsibility (AOR).
